A lot of research exists when it comes to depresion, anxiety and smartphone adiction seperately. Despite this, there is a significant lack of scientific research about the relationship between these terms. This research aims to see if it is possible to understand the relationship between smart phone addiction level and depression and anxiety levels among University students. For that purpose, The Smart Phone Addiction Scale, (Kwon, Lee, Won, Park, Min and Han (2013), and Beck's Anxiety and Beck's Depression (Beck, 1988 and, 1972) scales used. The second aim of the research is to examine differences between smart phone addiction level and depression and anxiety in terms of demographic variable as age. In this research, demographic information collected and used to determine individuals' gender. Thus, the study group consists of total 150 individuals, 75 male and 75 female university students, ages 18-27, from University. Results indicate there is statistically significant correlation between smart phone addiction level and depression level r =.944 and smart phone addiction level and anxiety level r = .921. Results also point to there is no statistically significant difference in smartphone addiction level between male and female participants p = .068. Pearson Moments Correlation used to investigate the relationships between smartphone addiction level and depresion and anxiety. The relation between demographic variables analyzed by using the indepented sample Test.
