This study usually studies the electrical design and configuration of passive power plants. A passive nuclear power plant is a power plant with a passive safety design. Passive safety design technology has begun to be used in the structure of nuclear power plants with third and third-generation + power plants. Passive safety design relies on natural forces, such as natural gravity and cyclic forces. The power plant adopts a passive design for safety-related components, which has resulted in major changes to the electrical system of the nuclear power plant. To understand passive safety design, clear research has been conducted on AP1000 and AP600 nuclear power plants. Because the third generation began with the AP600 nuclear power plant. On the other hand, the Chinese version of AP1000, CAP1400, was studied. A major change in electrical design is the reduction in the number of components for active power operation. This decline is primarily targeted at safety-related components. As the number of active safety-related components has decreased, backup safety systems have become even more important for nuclear power plants. After that, in this study, the DC power system of the nuclear power plant, especially the DC battery system, was studied. The research of the DC battery system is divided into DC battery and charger. Main headings on how to choose the battery type, battery cell type, battery size calculation, and battery charger size. For battery size and charger calculations, IEEE 485 and 946 standards are used. It is calculated manually according to the standard. From a standard worksheet as a calculation example. These calculations can also be done with ETAP software.
