Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Down Sendromlu (DS) öğrencilere uzaktan eğitim yoluyla uygulanan oyun etkinlikleri modülünün motor beceri üzerine etkilerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubu 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı Denizli ili özel eğitim anaokullarında öğrenim gören 20 (10 erkek, 10 kız) DS'li çocuktan oluşmuştur. Çalışmaya katılan 4-7 yaş aralığındaki DS'li çocukların yaş ortalaması 5,25±1,02 yıldır. Çalışmada MEB Oyun Etkinlikler Modülünden uyarlanarak oyun ve egzersizlerden oluşturulan etkinlik programı 12 hafta süresince uzaktan eğitim yoluyla uygulanmıştır. Etkinlik programına başlamadan önce ve 12 haftalık programı uygulamadan sonra çocukların motor becerileri Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Yeterlilik Testi Kısa Formu (BOT-2 KF) ile değerlendirilmiştir. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiğinden (p>0.05), çalışmada Independent Samples t- testi, Paired Samples t-testi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın Cronbach's Alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0,746 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmaya katılan kız ve erkek DS'li çocukların BOT-2 KF tüm alt testleri ve toplam puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır (p>0.05). Yaşa göre farklılık incelendiğinde BOT-2 KF toplam puanları ve ince motor doğruluk, el becerisi ve kuvvet alt testlerinde 6-7 yaş grubundaki DS'li çocuklar lehine anlamlı fark tespit edilmiştir (p

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the game activities module applied to students with Down Syndrome (DS) through distance education on motor skills. The research group consisted of 20 (10 boys, 10 girls) DS children studying in special education kindergartens in Denizli province in the 2020-2021 academic year. The mean age of the children with DS between the ages of 4 and 7 who participated in the study was 5.25±1.02 years. In the study, the activity program, which was adapted from the MEB Game Activities Module and created from games and exercises, was implemented through distance education for 12 weeks. Before starting the activity program and after implementing the 12-week program, the motor skills of the children were evaluated with the Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Proficiency Test Short Form (BOT-2 SF). Since the data showed normal distribution (p>0.05), Independent Samples t-test and Paired Samples t-test were used in the study. The Cronbach's Alpha internal consistency coefficient of this study was found to be 0.746. There was no significant difference between the mean scores of BOT-2 SF all subtests and total scores of the boys and girls with DS who participated in the study (p>0.05).
