As a saint in different cultural systems, Molana and Confucius have established their own educational theory systems, advocating for the perfection of personality, the temperament and mind of the people through education. However, there are significant differences in the basic concepts of education, educational content, objects and methods. The author compares Molanaand Confucius' educational thoughts, aiming to show the highlights of these two great men's educational ideas, deepen the understanding of the educational world, promote the exchanges between different educational ideas, and boost the development of contemporary social education. The academic circles have made certain research results on the study of these two educational ideas. There are quite a lot of research literatures on Confucius and Molana's educational thoughts, but the research results comparing the two educational thoughts are still relatively rare, and there is a large space for discussion. This paper mainly uses the literature reading method and the comparative research method to explore the educational thoughts of the two, and based on the“Sunnah”,“Masnawi”,“The Analects”, and other classics, the education thoughts of Molana and Confuciusare meticulously classified, and the educational ideas of the two are compared in terms of education concept, educational objects, educational content, and educational methods. At the same time, it combined with different cultural backgrounds and social environment, explored the deep cultural reasons of the influence betweentwo educational ideas. To correctly solve the problem of modern education, we need to draw wisdom from ancient people's educational thoughts, taking the social reality as the basis, adopt a speculative teaching attitude, and discover the secrets and treasures of education behind the positive influence of traditional education, and rethink the meaning of“The learning of the old text can provide solutions to the question of today.”
