Özet
Bu araştırma, bilgisayar ve mobil uygulama destekli etkinlikler yoluyla okul içi ve okul dışı ortamlarda(formal ve informal ortamlarda) yürütülen öğrenme faaliyetlerinin öğrencilerin akademik başarı, fen bilimlerine karşı tutum ve kendi kendine öğrenme becerilerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma modeli olarak ön test son test, kontrol gruplu, yarı deneysel desenin kullanıldığı bu çalışma, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında bir devlet okulunun 7. Sınıfına devam eden 45 öğrenci ile“Bitki ve Hayvanlarda Üreme Büyüme ve Gelişme”konusunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma gruplarından Kontrol Grubuna canlı dersler şeklinde uzaktan eğitim ve yüz yüze öğrenme etkinlikleri, Deney Grubu – 1'e canlı dersler şeklinde uzaktan eğitim ve okul dışı ortamlarda(informal + non formal) yüz yüze öğrenme etkinlikleri, Deney Grubu – 2'ye canlı dersler şeklinde uzaktan eğitim, okul içi ve okul dışı ortamlarda bilgisayar ve mobil uygulama destekli yüz yüze öğrenme etkinlikleri uygulanmıştır. Her üç grupta da etkinlikler 5E öğrenme modeline uygun tasarlanmıştır. Çalışmanın bağımsız değişkenlerini oluşturan üç farklı öğretim uygulamasının akademik başarıya, tutuma ve kendi kendine öğrenme becerisine etkisini tespit etmek için Akademik Başarı Testi, Fen Bilimleri Tutum Ölçeği ve Kendi Kendine Öğrenme Becerileri Ölçeği ön test-son test şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Bunlara ek olarak yöntem ve uygulamalar hakkında öğrencilerle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen nicel veriler SPSS 22 paket programı ile analiz edilmiş, nitel veriler ise betimsel analiz tekniği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre okul içi ve okul dışı ortamlarda bilgisayar ve mobil uygulama destekli etkinlikler, canlı dersler şeklinde uzaktan eğitim ve yüz yüze öğrenmeye göre akademik başarıyı anlamlı düzeyde artırmıştır. Fen bilimleri dersine yönelik tutum ve kendi kendine öğrenme becerileri geliştirmeye yönelik olumlu yönde etki etse de bu etkinin anlamlı bir fark oluşturacak düzeyde olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenci görüşlerine yönelik nitel sonuçlar da nicel sonuçları destekler niteliktedir.

This research, activities supported by computer and mobile application in and out of school environments (in formal and informal settings) that was conducted to determine the effect of learning activities on students' academic achievement, attitude towards science and selflearning skills. This study in which a pre-test post-test, control group and semi-experimental pattern were used as a research model which was conducted on the topic of“Reproductive Growth and Development in Plants and Animals”with 45 students studying in the 7th grade at public school in 2020-2021 academic year. The control group has a distance education and a face to face learning activities in the form of live lectures, and the experimental group 1 has a face-to-face learning activities in the form of live lessons through distance education and non-school environments (informal + non formal), and the experimental group – 2 has a distance education in the form of live lectures and face-to-face learning activities inside and outside the school's environments supported by computers and mobile application. Activities in all three groups are designed according to the 5E learning model. The academic achievement test, science attitude scale and self-learning skills scale were applied as pre-test and post-test to determine the effect of three different teaching practices that comprise the independent variables of the study of academic achievement, attitude, and self-learning skills. Moreover, semi-structured interviews were conducted with students about the methods and practices. The quantitative data obtained in the study were analyzed using the SPSS 22 package program, and the qualitative data were evaluated by using the descriptive analysis technique. According to the results of the research, the activities supported by computer and mobile application which are in the form of live lessons in-school and out-of-school environments significantly increased academic achievement compared to distance education and face-toface learning. Although it has a positive effect on the attitude towards the science course and on the development of self-learning skills, it has been determined that this effect is not at a level that will make a significant difference. Qualitative results for student opinions also support quantitative results
