Özet

Objective; the purpose of this study was to examine the cochleotoxic effects of cisplatin with high-frequency audiometry, to investigate the effects of posturography and cisplatin on balance, and to compare the static posturography results of patients who developed cochleotoxicity according to ASHA criteria and those who did not. Methods; thirty cancer patients were included in the study. Before starting cisplatin and one day after the end of the treatment; Pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, high-frequency audiometry, acoustic immitansmetry, and posturography tests were performed. Findings; according to ASHA criteria, ototoxicity developed in 17 (56.6%) of 30 patients. Tetrax IBSTM stability index showed statistical differences after treatment in all eight sensory conditions in Group 2, and in NC, PO and PC in Group 1 (p
