Özet
Kısa sürede Türkiye geneline yayılan kentsel dönüşüm projeleri beraberinde hızlı bir toplumsal değişime yol açmaktadır. Zaman içinde sayısı artan projeleri ele alan çalışmalarda gençlerle ilgili çalışmalara nadiren rastlanmaktadır. Dönüşümün insan ihtiyaçları göz ardı edilerek gerçekleşmesi sosyal dokuyu tahrip edebilmekte, gençlerin psikososyal gelişimini ve koruyucu mekanizmalara zarar verebilmektedir. Bu tezin amacı, gençlerin kendi dünyalarından bir bakışla bölgeyi ve dönüşümü nasıl algıladıklarının, toplumsallaşma süreçlerinin ve riskli davranışlara maruz kalma deneyimlerinin anlaşılmasıdır. Bu tez, fenomenolojik tipte betimsel amaçlı niteliksel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın özneleri amaçlı örneklem yoluyla belirlenmiştir. Altındağ ilçesi Gültepe Mahallesinde oturan 19 genç ve bu gençlerle çalışan ve gençlerin yaşamına dokunan 16 aktörle derinlemesine görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları“Toplumsallaşma Süreci İçinde Gültepe: Riskler, Sorunlar ve Gelecek”,“Gençliği Anlamak: Gençler, Gençlikle Neyi Kastediyor?”,“Dönüşen Gültepe Kentsel Dönüşüm Neleri Değiştirdi?”,“Uzmanların Gültepe'deki dönüşümle İlgili Söyleyecekleri Var”ve“Riskli Davranışlar Enkaz Altında Kaldı Mı?”başlıkları altında beş temada sunulmuştur. Tezin sonucunda, zaman içinde ise Gültepe'deki demografinin değişerek soylulaştığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Gençler işsizlik ve gelecek kaygısı yaşamaktadır. Kentsel dönüşüm sonrasında güvensizlik algısının devam ettiği, yeşil alanlar ve sosyal donatıların eksik olduğu ve gençler tarafından sık kullanılmadığı belirlenmiştir. Mahallede sosyoekonomik düzeyin çok düşük olduğu, yoksulluğun ciddi bir sorun olduğu ve mahallenin bir çöküntü bölge özelliği taşıdığı belirlenmiştir. Kentsel dönüşüm sonrası, mahalledeki suçun dağıtıldığı ve Ankara'daki farklı semtlerde riskli davranışların arttığı belirtilmiştir. Gültepe ve çevresinin riskli davranışlarla nitelendiği ve özellikle madde bağımlılığı, okul terki, erken evlilikler ve toplumsal şiddetin çok yüksek düzeyde görüldüğü ortaya çıkmıştır. Toplumsal dokuyu da içeren, gençlerin hizmetlere katılımını artıracak ve gençlerin psikososyal gelişimini destekleyecek bir program önerilmektedir.

Urban regeneration projects that spread throughout the Turkey in a short time led to a rapid social change. Studies on youth are rarely encountered in studies dealing with projects that have increased in number over time. Regeneration can destroy the social fabric, harm the psychosocial development of youth and their protective mechanisms. The aim of this thesis is to understand how young people perceive the region and regeneration from their own world, their socialization processes and their experiences of exposure to risky behaviors. This thesis is a descriptive qualitative study of phenomenological type. The subjects of the thesis were determined through purposive sampling. Within the scope of this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 19 young people and 16 actors who directly touch the lives of young people. Research findings presented under five themes as“Gültepe in the Process of Socialization: Risks, Problems and the Future”,“Understanding Youth: What Do Youth Mean?”,“Transforming Gültepe: What Urban Regeneration Has Changed? ”Experts Have Something to Say About the Regeneration in Gültepe“ and ”Are Risky Behaviors Under Ruins As Well?". As a result of the thesis, it has been revealed that the demographics in Gültepe have changed and become gentrified over time. Young people experience unemployment and anxiety about the future. It has been observed that the perception of insecurity continues after the urban regeneration. Green areas and social facilities are lacking and are not used frequently by young people. It has been determined that the socioeconomic level in the neighborhood is very low, poverty is a serious problem and the neighborhood has the characteristics of a deprived area. It was stated that after the urban regeneration, crime in the neighborhood was distributed and risky behaviors increased in different districts in Ankara. It has been revealed that Gültepe and its surroundings are characterized by risky behaviors and especially substance addiction, school dropout, early marriages and social violence are seen at a very high level. A program that will include the social fabric, increase the participation of young people in services and support the psychosocial development of young people is recommended.
