Özet
Bu çalışmada lise son sınıfta okuyan öğrencilerinin meslek belirleme kriterleri sosyolojik bağlamda incelenerek bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla toplumda meydana gelen değişimlerin meslek seçimlerindeki etkisi araştırılmış, dijitalleşme ve pandemi gibi süreçlerin meslek seçimi üzerindeki etkisinin ne düzeyde olduğu gibi sorulara cevap aranmıştır. Z Kuşağının meslek seçimini planlarken; cinsiyet, toplumsal çevrenin etkisi, pandemi, ekonomi, ikamet koşulları, aile etkisi gibi birçok faktörün etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2021-2022 eğitim - öğretim yılında İstanbul ilinin Anadolu Yakası'nda Kadıköy ve Üsküdar ilçelerinde özel lise ve devlet liselerinde eğitim ve öğretime devam eden 12. Sınıf öğrencileri ile yapılmıştır. Toplamda 4 lisede 160 kişiye yapılan araştırma, 87'si kız, 73 erkek öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Nicel araştırma olarak yapılan bu çalışmada tarama (Survey) modeli kullanılmış, verilerin analizinde SPSS programı kullanılıp veriler tablolar halinde yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarında elde edilen veriler ışığında meslek seçiminde; toplumsal statü, eğitim ve sınav sistemlerinin rolü, toplumsal yaşam standartları, dijital yaşam, arkadaş ortamı, sosyal çevre, aile gibi faktörlerin etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç ve öneriler kısmında ise toplumsal değişim sürecinde 12. sınıfta okuyan öğrencilerin meslek seçimi aşamasında sağlıklı karar verebilmeleri, kendilerini gerçekleştirebildikleri doğrultusunda neler yapılması gerektiğine ilişkin öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, the criteria for determining the profession of senior high school students were examined in a sociological context, and the effect of the changes in the society on the choice of profession was investigated from a holistic perspective, and answers were sought to questions such as the effect of processes such as digitalization and pandemic on the choice of profession. While planning the career choice of Generation Z; The effects of many factors such as gender, the effect of social environment, pandemic, economy, residence conditions, family effect were examined. The research was conducted with 12th grade students attending private and public high schools in Kadıköy and Üsküdar districts on the Anatolian side of Istanbul in the 2021-2022 academic year. The study, which was conducted with 160 people in 4 high schools in total, consists of 87 female and 73 male students. In this study, which was conducted as a quantitative research, the survey model was used, SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data and the data were interpreted in tables. In the light of the data obtained from the research results, in the choice of profession; It has been determined that factors such as social status, the role of education and examination systems, social living standards, digital life, friend environment, social environment and family are effective. In the conclusion and suggestions part, suggestions were made about what should be done in line with the ability of 12th grade students to make healthy decisions at the stage of career choice and to realize themselves in the process of social change.
