Özet

52 ÖZET“Plastik Formda Doku”başlıklı bu araştırma, heykel sanatında formun bir unsuru olarak dokunun üstlendiği işlevi irdelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde dokunun anlam tartışması yapılarak, do ğal ve yapay dokular çeşitli alt başlıklarda incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci bölümün de heykel açısından form incelenip, formun estetik öğe ve değerleri irdelenmiştir. A raştırma, bu bölümde plastik kavramını da ele alarak, kavramın anlamlandırma prob lemlerini tartışmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, araştırmanın amaçladığı temel soru tartışılmıştır. For mun doku ile ilintisi, dokunun önemi, dokunun formu etkileme gücü ve görsel algı ile bağlantısı irdelenmiştir. Son bölüm, çalışmanın temel sorunsalına dayalı olarak üretilmiş olan uy gulamaların, üretim süreçlerinden sonuçlanmış forma kadar analizini kapsamaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde gerek kuramsal gerekse edimsel anlamda araştırmacının vurguları yer almaktadır. Bu araştırma plastik form nasıl olmalıdır sorusuna sonuçlanmış bir yanıt vermeyi değil, bu sorunun heykel sanatçısı tarafından her zaman sorulması gerekliliğini içermektedir.

53 SUMMARY The research which is named“Texture on Plastic Form”aimed to discuss the function of texture in sculpture that is a part of form. In the first chapter natural and artificial textures are examined in different subtitles in the context of discussions about the signification of the texture. The sec ond chapter of the research, examines the form from the sculpture point of view; the value and the elements of form are defined. In this chapter, the research discusses the problems of signification of the concept in relation to plasticity. In the third chapter the main question which is aimed in the research is discussed. The texture in relation to the form, the importance of texture, the effective power of the texture on the form and its relations to the visual perception is examined. The last chapter contains the analysis of the applications which were pro duced according to the main issue of the research starting from the production proc ess to the resolved forms. In the conclusion part the emphasizes which are done by the researcher are situated both in theoretical and pragmatic way. This research aims not to answer the question of how the plastic form should be by giving a resolved answer but that this question should be always taken into consideration by sculptors.
