Özet
Küreselleşme çağında insan yaşamında etken rol oynayan kentleşme olgusu modern sosyolojisinde önemli araştırma konularından birisi olmuştur. Dünyada nüfusun yarısından fazlası kentlerde oturmaktadır. Kentte yaşayan insanların sayısı günden güne iç ve dış göçmenler pahasına artış göstermiştir. Kırsal alanlardan gelen göçmenlerle birlikte kentlerde kırsal gündelik yaşam tarzının yayılması da görülmüştür. Bundan dolayı kentlilik bilinci tamamen değişime uğramıştır. Sürekli artan nüfus, kentlerde yeni sosyo-ekonomik veya kültürel sorunların ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Küresel dünyanın bir parçası olan Gürcistan'da, hızlı kentleşmenin sonucu olarak farklı sorunların meydana gelmesi gibi benzer eğilimler görülmektedir. Sovyetler Birliği'nden ayrıldıktan sonra, Gürcistan şiddetli sosyo-ekonomik ve siyasi sorunlarla karşı karşıya kalmıştı. Sovyet sosyalist ekonomi modeli-merkez planlama, mülkiyete ve üretim araçlarına devletin egemenliğinin olması durumundan, 1990'lı yıllarda Gürcistan serbest piyasa ekonomisi modeline geçmiştir. Bu süreçte başlanan özelleştirme politikasının olumsuz sonuçları kentte yaşanmıştır. Plansız kentleşme, yoğun inşaatlar, artan nüfus, trafik ve hava kirliliği Tiflis kent peyzajını tamamen değiştirmiştir. Ekonomik krizi ve silahlı çatışmaların yıkıcı sonuçları Tiflis'te son 30 yıl boyunca yaşanmaktadır. Bu nedenlerden dolayı, kentlilik bilincinin anlayışı ve kentsel yaşam tarzı önemli ölçüde değişmiştir. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında Tiflis'te kentleşme ve kentsel sorunlar, kente karşı değerler ve tutumlarının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin tercih edildiği bu tez çalışmasında veriler, anket çalışması tekniği ile elde edilmiştir. Olasılığa dayalı basit tesadüf örnekleme kullanarak her iki semtten toplam 700 kişiyle yüz yüze anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler Tiflis kentinin sosyo-demografik özellikleri, sosyo-ekonomik durumu, göç deneyimleri, kentlilik algısı ve aidiyet duygusu, yaşanan mahallesinden memnuniyet düzeyi, kentsel yaşam deneyimler, kentsel sorunları vb. gibi sosyolojik görünümü incelenmiştir.

The role of globalization in humanization is important in modernizing urban development that explored. The world now resides in cities. In the city, the interior and exterior designs of the spaces consisting of houses are different from each other. It is in the cities, in the critical parts of your life, together with those who come from the countryside. For this reason, urban consciousness has changed completely. The ever-increasing population has led to the emergence of new socio-economic or cultural problems in cities. In Georgia, which is a part of the global world, similar trends are seen, such as the emergence of different problems as a result of rapid urbanization. After leaving the Soviet Union, Georgia faced severe socio-economic and political problems. From the Soviet socialist economic model-central planning, state domination of property and means of production, Georgia switched to a free market economy model in the 1990s. The negative results of the privatization policy started in this process were experienced in the city. Unplanned urbanization, intensive constructions, increasing population, traffic and air pollution have completely changed the Tbilisi urban landscape. The economic crisis and devastating consequences of armed conflicts have been experienced in Tbilisi for the last 30 years. For these reasons, the understanding of urban consciousness and the urban lifestyle have changed significantly. Within the scope of this thesis, it is aimed to investigate urbanization and urban problems, values and attitudes towards the city in Tbilisi. In this thesis study, in which the quantitative research method was preferred, the data were obtained by the survey technique. Using simple random sampling based on probability, a face-to-face survey was conducted with a total of 700 people from both districts. The data obtained within the scope of the research are socio-demographic characteristics of the city of Tbilisi, socio-economic situation, migration experiences, perception of urbanity and sense of belonging, level of satisfaction with the neighborhood, urban life experiences, urban problems, etc. sociological view has been examined.
