Özet

Aklın ontolojik ve epistemolojik mahiyeti düşünce tarihi boyunca bir takım anlam dönüşümlerine konu olmuştur. 10.yy. da ansiklopedist felsefe grubu olarak anılan İhvân-ı Safâ, Risâleler'inde aklın iki anlama delalet ettiğini söylerler. Bu anlamların ilki aklın ontolojik diğeri ise epistemolojik ifadesidir. Ontolojik akıl, kozmolojinin en tepesinde, varlık hiyerarşisinde Tanrı'dan sonra gelen, Tanrı'nın emri neticesinde yaratılan ve feyzinin taşmasıyla varlığa gelen, yetkin ve kemal sahibi bir entitedir. Var olduğu gibi varlık verir. Tanrı-alem ilişkisindeki ara konumu, yaratma ve sudur teorilerinin birlikte açıklanması çabası bakımında İhvân-ı Safâ'nın küllî akıl olarak adlandırdığı, kozmik, ontik akıl hiyerarşik varlık düzeninde çokluğa mevzu olması itibariyle oldukça önemli bir konumdadır. Bunun yanında din-felsefe birlikteliğinin bir ürünü ve bütün bilimlerin kuşatılması çabasının sonucu olarak aklın meydana gelişinde yer yer kelâmın sıfatlar teorisine yaklaşılan ifadeleri içermesi bir diğer dikkat çekici husustur. Diğer yandan epistemolojik akıl olarak ifade edilen akıl ise dönemin felsefi yaklaşımlarını kuşatma iddiası içerisinde kelamın akıl mefhumuna yaklaşmaları ve aklı bir gariza olarak ele almaları bir diğer dikkat çekisi husustur.

The ontological and epistemological essence of the intellect has been the subject of some meaning transformations throughout the history of thought. 10th century the Ikhwan al-Safa, also known as the encyclopedist philosophy group, say in their Resail that the intellect signifies two meanings. The first of these meanins is the ontological expression of the intellect and the other is the epistemological expression. Ontological intellect is a competent and perfect entity at the top of cosmology, coming after God in the hierarchy of existence, created as a result of God's command and coming into existence with overflow of its effulgence. It gives existence as it exists. The cosmic, ontic intellect, which the Ikhwan al-Safa calls the universal intellect, is in a very important position in terms of its intermediate position in the God-realm relationship, the effort to explain the theories of creation and emanation together, as it is the subject of multiplicity in the hierarchical order of existence. In addition, it s another remarkable issue that it includes expression that are approached to the theory of adjectives in the formation of the intellect as a result of the coexistence of religion-philosophy and the effort to encompass all sciences. On the other hand, the intellect, which is expressed as epistemological reason, is another remarkable issue that they approaches the Notion of reason in kalam and considered the mind as a gariza within the claim of encompassing the philosophical approaches of the period.
