Özet

Bireylerin endoskopik işleme uyumunun sağlanamaması korku ve anksiyeteye neden olurken işlem konforunu da etkileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, endoskopi işlemi öncesi hastalara verilen video destekli eğitimin bakım sonuçları üzerine etkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma ön test-son test kontrol gruplu girişimsel çalışma olarak bir üniversite hastanesinin Endoskopi kliniğinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örnekleme 70 girişim, 70 kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 140 hasta alınmıştır. Veriler Bireysel özellikler formu, Durumluk kaygı ölçeği, yaşam bulguları izlem formu ve memnuniyet anketi ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmada yer alan hastalara ön testler uygulandıktan sonra kontrol grubu hastalarına rutin prosedürde yer alan bilgilendirme yapılırken, girişim grubundaki hastalara video destekli eğitim verilmiş ve her iki gruba son testler uygulanmıştır. Toplanan veriler lisanslı SPSS paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. Girişim ve kontrol grubunda bulunan hastalar, cinsiyet (p=0,026), medeni durum (p=0,001), çocuk sahibi olma (p=0,001) ve meslek grupları(p=0,047) dışında bireysel ve sağlık durumuna ilişkin özellikler açısından benzerdir (p>0,05). Failure of individuals to comply with the endoscopic procedure may cause fear and anxiety, and may also affect the comfort of the procedure. In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of video-assisted education given to patients before the endoscopy procedure on care outcomes. The study has been carried out in the Endoscopy clinic of a university hospital as an interventional study with a pretest-posttest control group. A total of 140 patients were included in the sample, 70 of which were in the intervention group and 70 in the control group. Data have been collected with the Personal characteristics form, the state anxiety scale, the vital signs follow-up form, and the satisfaction questionnaire. After the pre-tests were applied to the patients in the study, the patients in the intervention group were given video-assisted training while the patients in the control group were informed about the routine procedure and post-tests were applied to both groups. The collected data have been evaluated in the licensed SPSS package program. The patients in the intervention and control groups were similar in terms of individual and health conditions, except for gender (p=0.026), marital status (p=0.001), having children (p=0.001) and occupational groups (p=0.047) (p> 0.05).
