Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma ile özel gereksinimli ve sağlıklı gelişim gösteren öğrencilerle çalışan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinde duygusal öz farkındalık düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Yöntem: Araştırmaya 131 kadın ve 131 erkek olmak üzere 262 beden eğitimi öğretmeni katılım göstermiştir. Araştırmada katılımcıların demografik bilgilerini almak amacıyla kişisel bilgi formu ve duygusal öz farkındalık düzeylerini ölçmek için, DÖFÖ-10 Tatar ve arkadaşları (2018) tarafından Türkçe uyarlaması yapılan duygusal öz farkındalık ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Elde dilen bulgular incelendiğinde duygusal öz farkındalık ölçeğinden topladıkları puanları cinsiyet açısından kayda değer bir fark gösterdiği, kadınların puanlarının erkeklerden daha yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların duyguları okuma, fark etme becerilerinin araştırmaya katılan erkeklerden daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bir diğer sonuç katılımcıların duygusal öz farkındalık ölçeğinden aldıkları puanları meslekteki yıllarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiğidir. Katılımcıların duygusal öz farkındalık puanlarına baktığımızda; 10 yıl ve üzeri meslekte olanların puanlarının en yüksek, 1-5 yıl meslekte olanların puanlarının en düşük olduğu görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak 10 yıl ve üzeri meslekte olanların duyguları okuma, fark etme becerilerinin diğerlerinden daha yüksek olduğu söylenebilmektedir. Öte yandan katılımcıların duygusal öz farkındalık ölçeğinden aldıkları puanlarının eğitim durumu, gelir durumu, yaş, özel gereksinimli çocuklarla çalışma durumu ve özel gereksinimli çocuklarla çalışma süresi değişkenleri bakımından kayda değer bir fark göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç: Araştırma bulguları değerlendirildiğinde katılımcıların duygusal öz farkındalık ölçeğinden aldıkları puanlarının eğitim durumu, gelir durumu, yaş, özel gereksinimli çocuklarla çalışma durumu ve özel gereksinimli çocuklarla çalışma süresi değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği ancak meslekteki yıl ve cinsiyet değişkeni bakımından farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the emotional self-awareness levels of physical education teachers working with students with special needs and healthy development. Method: 131 women and 131 men, participated in the study. In the study, the emotional awareness scale adapted in Turkish by DÖFÖ-10 (Emotional Self-Awareness Scale), Tatar ve(2018) was used to measure the personal information form and self-awareness levels of the participants in order to obtain demographic information. 262 physical education teachers, When the research findings were evaluated, Findings: Within the scope of the research, the distribution of the participants' scores from the Emotional Self-Awareness Scale in terms of gender, educational status, income status, and age were examined. When the findings are examined, it is seen that the scores they collect from the emotional self-awareness scale show a significant difference in terms of gender, and the scores of women are higher than men. It has been determined that the women participating in the research have higher ability to read and notice emotions than the men participating in the research. In addition, another result obtained within the scope of the research is that the scores of the participants from the emotional self-awareness scale show a significant difference according to their years in the profession. When we look at the emotional self-awareness scores of the participants; It is seen that the scores of those who have been in the profession for 10 years or more are the highest, and the scores of those who have been in the profession for 1-5 years are the lowest. As a result, it can be said that those who have been in the profession for 10 years or more have higher ability to read and notice emotions than others. On the other hand, it was concluded that the scores obtained by the participants from the emotional self-awareness scale did not show a significant difference in terms of educational status, income status, age, working status with children with special needs and duration of working with children with special needs. Result: . it was concluded that the scores of the participants from the emotional self-awareness scale did not show a significant difference in terms of educational status, income status, age, working status with children with special needs and working time with children with special needs, but differed in terms of years in the profession and gender.
