Özet

Real-time connectivity and computational power have changed the way individuals manage their activities, resulting in a high reliance on smart devices. This has changed people's ability to memorize important information, instead of storing it in gadgets that can be accessed instantly when needed. The inability to acquire such needed information is commonly thought to be due to device malfunction, avoiding the risk of compromise; however, what if the material is now being accessible by enemies, denying the data-owner access to sensitive data? These challenges do not exempt cyber manufacturing systems. This challenge can be approached as developing an SoS meta-architecture. The aim of this study is to examine the system of systems (SoS) architecture for cyber-security and compare it with other SoS tools. The research used the electronic questionnaire form as a study tool. The study results revealed that there is a positive, significant, and statistically significant relationship between cyber-security and the system of systems (SoS) architecture at the level of significance of 0.01. There is a positive, significant, and statistically significant relationship between cyber-security and the system of systems (SoS) tool at the level of significance of 0.01. It is concluded that although some large-scale SoSs are engineered using traditional techniques and may not be explicitly identified as such, the opportunities provided by the convergence of embedded software platforms and the Internet mean that in the future, many more SoSs will be engineered and explicitly identified as such.
