Özet
Bu araştırma sleeve gastrektomi cerrahisi uygulanan hastaların cerrahi öncesi ve sonrası dönemdeki beslenme ve inflamasyon durumlarındaki farklılıklarının incelenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya 19-64 yaş aralığında, BKİ değeri >40 kg/m2 veya 35-40 kg/m2 olup obezite ile ilişkili komorbiditeye sahip olan 33 kadın katılmıştır. Tüm veriler preop ve postop dönemlerdeki değerlendirmeler ile elde edilmiştir. Bireylere genel ve sağlık bilgileri hakkında anket formu ve UFAA'nın kısa formu uygulanmıştır. Bireylerin antropometrik ölçümleri alınmış ve vücut bileşimi analizleri yapılmıştır. Bireylerden alınan üç günlük besin tüketim kayıtlarından diyetle günlük enerji ve besin ögesi alım miktarları ile Dİİ skorları ve d-TAK değerleri preop ve postop 6. ayda hesaplanmıştır. Bireylerin bazı biyokimyasal bulguları hastane sistemindeki kayıtlardan elde edilmiş olup inflamasyon ile ilişkili parametrelerin (hs-CRP, TNF-α ve IL-6) analizi için preop ve postop 6. ayda kan örnekleri toplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucuna göre postop 6. ayda bireylerin vücut ağırlığında, BKİ'nde ve vücut yağ miktarında anlamlı azalma görülmüş olup (p0,05); bireylerin d-TAK değerlerinin postop 6. ayda anlamlı azaldığı saptanmıştır (p0,05). Sonuç olarak bu çalışmanın postop döneminde bireylerin diyetle antioksidan alım miktarının azalmasının ve diyetin inflamatuvar potansiyelinin yüksek bulunmasının inflamasyon parametrelerinden bazılarının (hs-CRP ve IL-6) düzeylerinde azalma görülmemesi ile ilişkili olabileceği düşünülmüştür. Bu ilişkilerin daha net anlaşılması için daha kapsamlı çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır.

This study was conducted to examine the differences in nutrition and inflammation status of patients who underwent sleeve gastrectomy surgery before and after surgery. Thirty-three women, aged 19- 64 years, with a BMI of >40 kg/m2 or 35-40 kg/m2 and who had obesity-related comorbidities participated in the study. All data were obtained with preoperative and postoperative evaluations. A questionnaire about general and health information and the short form of IPAQ were applied to the individuals. Anthropometric measurements of the individuals were taken and body composition analyzes were performed. Daily energy and nutrient intakes with diet, DII scores and d-TAC values were calculated from the three-day food consumption records taken from the individuals at preoperative and postoperative 6th months. Some biochemical findings of the individuals were obtained from the records in the hospital system and blood samples were collected at preoperative and postoperative 6th months for the analysis of inflammation-related parameters (hs-CRP, TNF-α and IL-6). According to the results of the study, a significant decrease was observed in the body weight, BMI and body fat of the individuals at the postoperative 6th month (p0.05); d-TAC values of individuals were found to decrease significantly at the postoperative 6th month (p0.05). As a result, it was thought that the decrease in the amount of antioxidant intake in the diet and the high inflammatory potential of the diet in the postoperative period of this study may be related to the lack of decrease in the levels of some of the inflammation parameters (hs-CRP and IL-6).
