Özet
Okul öncesi öğretmenleri ile ebeveynlerin toplumsal cinsiyete yönelik algı düzeylerinin ortaya konulduğu bu araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 330 çocuğun ebeveyni (anne ve baba birlikte) ve İstanbul İli Üsküdar İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı olarak çalışan 78 okul öncesi öğretmeninin katılım gösterdiği çalışmada veriler, Demografik Bilgi Formu ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin ve ebeveynlerin toplumsal cinsiyet algı düzeylerinin yüksek düzeye yakın orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Bunun yanı sıra okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin toplumsal cinsiyete yönelik algıları cinsiyete, eğitim düzeyine ve toplumsal cinsiyet ile ilgili daha önce herhangi bir ders alma durumlarına göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmazken, mesleki kıdeme göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmaktadır. Ebeveynlerin ise toplumsal cinsiyete yönelik algıları; çocuklarının cinsiyetlerinin dağılımına, çocuk sayılarına, anne yaşına, baba yaşına, anne-baba birliktelik durumuna, anne eğitim durumuna, baba eğitim durumuna ve aile yapısına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, anne ve babaların çalışma durumuna ve mesleğine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmaktadır. Ayrıca okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algı puanları, ebeveynlerin toplumsal cinsiyet algı puanlarından anlamlı düzeyde yüksektir.

This study was carried out using the survey model, a quantitative research method, in order to reveal the gender perceptions of preschool teachers and parents. The sample group of the study consisted of the parents of 330 children (those with parents that are together) and 78 preschool teachers affiliated to the Üsküdar District National Education Directorate of Istanbul. Data from the participants was collected through the Demographic Information Form and the Gender Perception Scale. As a result, it was seen that the gender perception levels of preschool teachers and parents were 'medium level close to high'. In addition, the gender perceptions of preschool teachers did not differ significantly according to gender, education level and whether they had taken any previous course related to gender. However, the scores of teachers differ significantly according to their professional seniority. In regards to the gender perceptions of parents, there was no significant difference according to the distribution of the sexes of their children, the number of children, the age of the mother, the age of the father, the state of the mother-father relationship, the education level of the mother, the education level of the father and the family structure. However, the average scores differ significantly according to the working status and profession of the mothers and fathers. In addition, preschool teachers' gender perception scores are significantly higher than parents' gender perception scores.
