Özet

Buildings have a significant share in energy consumption on a global scale. And this energy consumption contributes to the production of greenhouse gases, which are associated with environmental pollution and the formation of the urban heat island. Environmental deteriorations such as climate change, the effect of which has been felt more and more in recent years, compels humanity to act more consciously about energy consumption and to take measures in this regard. Therefore, optimizing the energy use of buildings is of critical and vital importance. Another issue that should not be forgotten in this regard is the need to provide comfort in buildings, which are the living spaces of people. Thermal comfort is one of these needs, in direct proportion to its high share in energy consumption in buildings. Buildings that will be designed and used considering all the factors mentioned above should offer energy efficiency in a way that minimizes the negative environmental impacts as much as possible, and at the same time, they should meet the needs, especially thermal comfort, and all these should be presented within the limits that can be met financially. The subject of the study is to provide an overview and contribute to the solutions sought at this point. For this reason, literature research on the subject has been done and studies on solutions have been examined and a compilation has been presented in the Introduction section. Afterwards, a sample building project was selected, and it was modeled in three dimensions with the Revit program, a software of Autodesk commercial company. The tools of the Revit software were used to conduct the thermal and financial analysis of the modeled building, and by using these tools, energy consumption and thus financial optimization were tried to be provided for the relevant sample building project. In the light of the data obtained, the energy certificate performance for the sample building was calculated. The most important point among the outputs of the study is that the user awareness, which is one of the most important factors on the optimization of energy consumption and thus the financial savings to be provided, can be easily increased, similar to the one presented in the study, and it will help to reach the desired level of energy and financial use.
