Özet

Bu çalışma mesleki ve teknik eğitim ortaöğretim kurumlarında bulunan giyim üretim teknolojisi / moda tasarım teknolojileri alanına olan ilginin ve talebin azalmasının nedenlerine yönelik öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada tekstil- hazır giyim tanımlanarak dünyada ve Türkiye'de tekstil/giyim sektörünün tarihsel ve gelişimsel süreci ile birlikte sektörün dünyadaki mevcut durumu ve ekonomik verileri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca sektörün ülkemiz ekonomisindeki payına bakılarak istihdam, ihracat ve ithalat rakamları çalışmaya aktarılmıştır. Çalışmada mesleki eğitim tanımlandıktan sonra Türkiye'de mesleki eğitim“ahilik, lonca, Tanzimat sonrası, Cumhuriyet dönemi”olmak üzere dört bölümde incelenmiş ve mevcut durumda mesleki eğitim ile ilgili veriler aktarılmıştır. Çalışmada kişiler bir durum ile ilgili deneyimlerini betimlediği için nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomonoloji (olgu bilim) deseni tercih edilmiş olup nitel araştırma tekniklerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu; Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Mesleki Eğitim Genel Müdürlüğüne bağlı örgün ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan moda tasarım / giyim üretim teknolojisi alanı öğretmenleri oluşturmuş ve araştırmaya, gönüllü 30 alan öğretmeni katılmıştır. Katılımcıların alana olan ilgi ve talebinin azalmasının nedenleri; toplumun ve ailelerin alan ve okula olan olumsuz önyargıları, alanın zor ve uğraştırıcı olduğuna dair önyargılar, eğitim öğretim sürecinde teorik bilginin fazla uygulamanın az olması, eğitim-sektör iş birliğinin yetersiz olması, makinelerin eski ve teknolojik olarak geri kalmış olması, atölyelerin fiziki şartlarının ve ekipmanlarının yetersiz olması, makine sayısının yetersiz olması ve spesiyal (özel) makinelerin olmaması, mesleki okullara akademik başarısı düşük öğrencilerin gelmesi, mezuniyet sonrasında iş koşullarının olumsuz etkisi, sektörün gençlere fırsat vermemesi, yoğun çalışma koşulları, ücretlerin yetersiz olması olarak belirtmişlerdir.

This study has been prepared to determine the opinions of teachers about the reasons for the decrease in the interest and demand in the field of clothing production technology / fashion design technologies in vocational and technical education secondary-education institutions. In the study, textile-apparel was defined and the historical and developmental process of the textile/clothing sector in the world and in Turkey, as well as the current situation and economic data of the sector in the world were examined. In addition, by looking at the share of the sector in our country's economy, employment, export and import figures were transferred to the study. After the definition of vocational education in the study, vocational education in Turkey was examined in four parts as“ahilik, guild, post-Tanzimat, Republican period”and data about vocational education in the current situation were given. In the study, phenomenology (phenomenology) design was preferred among qualitative research designs, since people described their experiences about a situation, and semi-structured interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research techniques, was applied. In the analysis of the data, the descriptive analysis method was used. Working group; Fashion design / clothing production technology field teachers working in formal secondary education institutions affiliated to the General Directorate of Vocational Education of the Ministry of National Education were formed and 30 volunteer field teachers participated in the research. As the reasons for the decrease in the interest and demand to the field; negative prejudices of society and families towards the field and school, prejudices that the field is difficult and arduous, insufficient application of theoretical knowledge in the education process, insufficient education-industry cooperation, old and technologically backward machines, physical conditions and equipment of the school workshops, insufficient number of machines and lack of special machines , students with low academic success coming to vocational schools, the negative effect of business conditions after graduation , the sector not giving opportunities to young people, intense working conditions and insufficient wages were stated by the participants.
