Özet

COPMI have a high risk of developing psychological problcms ond/or adcliction problems. PIEP is a farnily-focused Dutcb preventative intervention tbat is aimed at COPMI between the ages four and eigbt. Tbe current study aimed to investigate 1. Wlıetber there is an improvement in the chiWs wellbeing after PIEP, 2. Whether there is an improvemeot of the involvemeot willıin the family after PIEP and 3. Whether the child's wellbeing is mecUated by the family involvement. Jn total data from 39 faınilics on thc VGP and tbc KINDL were used. The results showcd tlıat thc child's wellbcing improvcd, wbilc tbe fam.ily involvement did not change aft.er tbe intervention. Family involvement and c!ıild''s wellbeing were positively associated witlı ench other, indicating a possible moderation effect. The current study is one ofthe fust studies tbaı investigate child wellbeing as a whole in COPM( between the ages of four and eight.
