Özet
In the construction industry, one of the most important concerns is energy management. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has the greatest percentage of total energy usage in electric appliances and building services installations. Air conditioning accounts for around sixty percent of the total energy consumption in buildings. To attain sustainability in the built environment and considerably cut down on the amount of energy that is consumed, it is imperative that improvements in the energy efficiency of buildings be made. This paper contributes significantly in two primary areas. First, the researchers suggest and show a data structure for building materials that is adopted from Iraqi markets. This structure was used for the construction categorization systems in Iraq that they developed. Second, the provided dataset contains information on the fine-grained materials used in 60 buildings located in a variety of places throughout Iraq. Collecting design or construction drawings for the structures that were the focus of the study and then executing material takeoffs based on these drawings allowed for the development of the dataset. The data format provides Artificial neural network (ANN) processes for investigations into what are the material requirements in building design based on sustainable concept, opportunities to reduce energy use, and a better knowledge of how materials are utilized in structures
