Özet

With the role it plays today, innovation has developed into a crucial competitive advantage. Businesses now face a more intensely competitive environment as a result of the globalization phenomenon. It is proposed that innovation is a prerequisite for organizations to be able to obtain competitive advantage or, at the very least, maintain their current position in an environment that is characterized by frequent and difficult changes. Businesses' ability to operate in accordance with customer requests and wants determines their competitiveness, adaptability to change, and ability to direct the change. With innovation, it may now be possible to more effectively meet customer wants, capitalize on market possibilities, and dominate the competition. One of the most crucial elements in increasing profitability and growth is the development of the innovative capabilities that enable organizations to make a difference. This study intends to investigate how innovation affects and contributes to corporate competitiveness in an effort to help businesses that struggle to be competitive. The notions of innovation and competition, as well as their interactions, are thoroughly addressed in this paper.
