Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; kamu alanında görev yapan personellerin rekreasyonel amaçlı egzersize motivasyonlarını arttıran faktörlerin ve yaşam doyum düzeylerinin sosyodemografik özelliklerine göre incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın evrenini kamu personelleri oluştururken örneklemini ise uygun örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen Türkiye'nin Karaman ilinde kamu da çalışan personeller (n=502) oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın verilerinin toplanmasında; 66 sorudan oluşan Rekreasyonel Egzersize Motivasyon Ölçeği (REMM) ve 5 sorudan oluşan kamu personellerinin yaşam doyum düzeylerini belirlemeye yönelik Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği (YDÖ) ve sosyodemografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde ilk aşamada veriler şekilsel olarak incelenirken, ikinci aşamada verilerin çarpıklık (skewness) ve basıklık (kurtosis) değerlerine bakılmıştır. Analizler sonucu verilerin parametrik test koşullarına uygun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar incelendiğinde katılımcıların REMM ölçeğinin bütün alt boyutlarında, YDÖ'de ise refah düzeyi, egzersiz yapma süresi, haftalık egzersiz yapma süresi, haftalık boş zaman süresinin yeterliliği, katılımcıların boş zaman faaliyetlerini kimlerle geçirdikleri, boş zamanları değerlendirmekte çekilen güçlük değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to examine the factors that increase the motivation of the personnel working in the public sector for recreational exercise and their life satisfaction levels according to their sociodemographic characteristics. While the population of the study consists of public personnel, the sample consists of personnel working in the public sector (n=502) in the province of Karaman, Turkey, determined by the convenient sampling method. In collecting the data of the study; The Recreational Exercise Motivation Scale (REMM) consisting of 66 questions and the Life Satisfaction Scale (LDS) and sociodemographic information form consisting of 5 questions were used to determine the life satisfaction levels of public personnel. In the statistical analysis of the data, in the first stage, the data were examined formally, and in the second stage, the skewness and kurtosis values of the data were examined. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the data were suitable for the parametric test conditions. When the results obtained from the research were examined, it was seen that the participants differed significantly in all sub-dimensions of the REMM scale and in the variables of well-being, duration of exercise, weekly exercise duration, adequacy of weekly leisure time, with whom the participants spent their leisure time activities, and difficulty in evaluating leisure time. detected.
