Özet
Modern Türk edebiyatı alanında Paris hakkında yapılan çalışmaların roman türü üzerine yoğunlaşması; şehrin etkisinin hatıra türü üzerinden incelenmemesi sonucunu beraberinde getirdiği için söz konusu eksikliği gidermek amacıyla bu araştırma gerçekleştirildi. Edebiyat tarihlerimizde Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'e kadar ünlenen şairlerin yayımlanmış tüm hatıraları incelendi. Bu iş yapılırken birincil kaynak olarak matbu hatıralar kullanıldı. Ancak sadece bu türdeki eserlerin bazı şairlerin Paris hatıralarını anlatmada yeterli olmadığı görüldüğü için şairlerin mektup, gezi yazısı ve deneme türlerindeki eserlerinden de yararlanıldı. Süreli yayınlardaki Paris hatıraları başka bir çalışmanın konusunu oluşturabileceği için bu çalışmada onlara yer verilmedi. Ancak Abdülhak Hâmid ve Ahmet Haşim gibi isimlerin önce gazetelerde yayımlanıp daha sonra kitap hâline getirilen eserleri incelenerek şehre dair ve döneme ait ayrıntıların kaçırılmaması hedeflendi. Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'e Şair Hatıralarında Paris üç ana bölüm hâlinde tasarlandı. Çalışmanın Giriş bölümünde Paris etkisinin modern edebiyatımıza nasıl girdiği ve edebiyatımızı ne şekilde etkilediği anlatılmaya çalışıldı. Ayrıca hatıra türünün Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'e nasıl bir gelişim gösterdiği incelendi. İkinci bölümün ilk kısmında çalışmaya zemin hazırlaması bakımından Paris'in dünya modernleşme tarihi içindeki serüveni ve şehrin yüzyıllar içindeki dönüşümünden kısaca bahsedildikten sonra Paris'in Osmanlı modernleşmesine nasıl etki ettiği anlatıldı. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümde ise edebiyat tarihlerindeki dönemlerine göre şair hatıraları ele alındı. Paris'e giden şairlerimizin şehre dair hatıraları ayrı başlıklar hâlinde incelendi. Sonuç bölümünde Paris'in şairlerimize etkisi kültürel açıdan bir mesele olarak ele alınıp çalışmamız değerlendirilmeye çalışıldı.

Concentrating on the novel genre of studies about Paris in the field of modern Turkish literature; this research was carried out in order to fill the gap in question, since the effect of the city was not examined through the memory type. For this study, all poet memoirs published in our literary history from the Tanzimat to the Republic were examined. While doing this work, printed memories were used as the primary source. Nevertheless, since it was seen that only this type of works were not enough to tell the memories of some poets about Paris, the works of poets in the form of letters, travel writings and essays were also used. As memories of Paris in periodicals may be the subject of another study, they were not included in this study. However, it was aimed not to miss the details of the city and the period by examining the works of names such as Abdülhak Hamid and Ahmet Haşim, which were first published in newspapers and later turned into a book. In the Memories of Poets from the Tanzimat to the Republic, Paris was designed in three main sections. In the Introduction part of the study, it was tried to explain how the effect of Paris entered our modern literature and how it affected it. In addition, the development of the type of memorabilia from the Tanzimat to the Republic was examined. In order to provide a basis for the study in the first part of the second part, Paris adventure in the world modernization history and the transformation of the city over the centuries were briefly mentioned and how Paris affected the Ottoman modernization. In the third part of the study, the memories of poets who went to Paris were examined according to their periods in the history of literature and the memories of our poets who went to Paris were examined under separate headings. In the conclusion part, the effect of Paris on our poets was regarded as a cultural issue and our study was tried to be evaluated.
