Özet
Eğitimde kalite ve başarının temeli çağın yetkinlikleri doğrultusunda planlanan öğretmen eğitimi ve ihtiyaçları karşılayan öğretim programlarından geçmektedir. Bu bağlamda her dönemde ilgi ve motivasyonu arttıracak, öğretimi kalıcı ve eğlenceli hale getirecek nitelikli öğretim materyalleri tasarlanak öğretmenin görev ve sorumluluklarının başında gelmektedir. Eğitimde materyal tasarımı ve kullanımı öğretimin kalitesini arttırmak adına her geçen gün çeşitlenip, güncellenerek bilgi çağının ihtayaçlarını karşılamaya devam etmektedir. Çizgi roman, öğretim materyali olarak son 15 yıl içerisinde dünyada ve ülkemizde yapılan araştırmalarda etkinliğini kanıtlamıştır. Çizgi roman yapısı itibariyle her dönemde dikkat çeken, motivasyonu arttıran, eğitimde her kademeye rahatlıkla entegre edilebilen eğlenceli bir öğretim tekniği olmuştur. Öğretmen eğitiminin temel unsurlarından biri olan öğretim teknolojileri ve materyal tasarımı dersinin içeriği incelendiğinde; alana uygun materyal tasarlama, doğru yer ve zamanda kullanma, ölçme ve değerlendirmeye yardımcı olma açısından öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının mesleki becerilerini geliştirmeyi amaçladığı görülmektedir. Öğretmen adaylarının lisans ve lisanüstü eğitimde zorunlu ve seçmeli olarak aldığı materyal geliştirme ve alana yönelik materyal geliştirme derslerini uygulamalı olarak görmeleri meslek hayatlarında nitelikli bir öğretim gerçekleştirmeleri açısından önemlidir. Bu araştırmada YTÜ Eğitim Fakültesi bünyesinde Türkiye'de ilk kez lisansüstü eğitimde temel meslek dersi olarak açılan“Eğitimde Çizgi Roman Kullanımı”dersinin öğretmen görüş ve deneyimleri çerçevesinde incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.“Eğitimde Çizgi Roman Kullanımı”dersi, eğitim ve çizgi romanı bir potada eriterek öğretmen eğitiminde mesleki beceri ve yetkinlikleri arttırmayı hedeflemekyedir. Bu kapsamda 2019-2022 sürecinde YTÜ Eğitim Fakültesi, sosyal bilgiler eğitimi lisansüstü kademesindeki öğrencilerin“Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimde Çizgi Roman Kullanımı”dersini aldıkltan sonraki sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği süreçleri görüşme ve ders çıktısı olan materyalleri incelenmiştir. Dört yılı kapsayan eğitim-öğretim sürecinde“Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimde Çizgi Roman Kullanımı”dersini alan lisansüstü sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinden 12'si görüşme yapılıp tasarladıkları materyaller incelenmiştir. Bu öğretmenlerin 6'sının eğitimde çizgi roman kullanımı üzerine akademik yayınları bulunmakta olup 3'ü sosyal bilgiler dersinde çizgi roman eğitimi vermektedir. Geriye kalan 3 öğretmen çizgi romanı meslek hayatlarında aktif olarak kullanmaktadırlar.

The quality and success in education lies in teacher training planned in line with the competencies of the age and the curriculum that meets the needs. In this context, it is one of the duties and responsibilities of the teacher to design quality teaching materials that will increase interest and motivation and make teaching permanent and enjoyable. In order to increase the quality of education, material design and use in education continues to meet the needs of the information age by being diversified and updated day by day to increase the quality of education. International and Turkey-based research in the past 15 years suggest comic books as an effective teaching material. Comic books have become an entertaining teaching material that attracts attention in every period, increases motivation, and can be easily integrated into all levels of education. When the content of the instructional technologies and material design course is examined as basic elements of teacher education; it is seen that it aims to develop the professional skills of teacher candidates such as designing materials suitable for the field, using them in the right place and time, helping measurement and evaluation. Material development and field-oriented material development courses are significant for teachers and teacher candidates for that they take as compulsory and optional in undergraduate and graduate education in terms of performing a qualified education in their professional life. In this research, the“Use of Comics in Education”course, which was opened as a basic vocational course in graduate education for the first time in Turkey at Yildiz Teknik Faculty of Education was analyzed wihin the scope of teachers' opinions and experiences. The“Use of Comics in Education”course aims to increase professional skills and competencies in teacher education by melting education and comics in one pot. In this context, the materials, which are the interviews and course outputs of the social studies teaching processes after taking the“Use of Comics in Education in Social Studies”course, of the graduate level students of YTU Education Faculty, in the period of 2019-2022 were examined. 12 of the postgraduate social studies teachers who took the“Use of Comics in Educationin Social Studies”course during the four-year education period were interviewed and the materials they designed were examined. 6 of these teachers have academic publications on the use of comics in education, and 3 of them teach comics in the social studies course. The remaining 3 teachers actively use comics in their professional lives.
