Özet
Yüksek lisans tez çalışmasının amacı; dışavurumcu sanat akımı kapsamında kullanılan sanatsal malzemelerin, söz konusu akıma olan etkilerini, seçilen örnek sanatçılardan alınan eserlerle çözümlemektir. Sanatsal araç- gereç ve materyaller, gerek boyar, gerek çizer, gerekse de yüzey malzemeleri bağlamında, kronolojik sıra içerisinde, farklı malzeme kullanan sanatçıların eserleri ile incelenmiş ve yorumlanıştır. Yağlı boya, pastel gibi boyar, kalem, füzen gibi çizer ve tuval tahta gibi yüzey malzemeleri üzerinden konu irdelenmiş ve sanatsal anlatım diline olan etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda tez çalışması hermeneutik desenine uygun yürütülmüştür. Batı Resim sanatındaki dışavurumcu yaklaşım kapsamında öne çıkan Edvard Munch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Amedeo Modigliani, Otto Muller ve Karl Schmidt-Rottluff'ın bazı eser örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Söz konusu akımın önemli sanatçılarının yanı sıra, dışavurumcu yaklaşımla eserlerini üreten sanatçıların çalışmaları da sanatsal malzeme kullanımları bağlamında incelenmiştir. Nitel araştırma yönteminin esas alındığı bu çalışmada, veri toplama aracı olarak doküman kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde dışavurumcu yaklaşımla eser üreten sanatçıların, materyallerin gelişmesi ve güçlenmesiyle birlikte, bu malzemeleri yorumlama becerilerini geliştirdikleri görülmüştür.

The aim of the master's thesis is to analyze the effects of the artistic materials used within the scope of the expressionist art movement on the movement in question with the works of selected sample artists. Artistic tools and materials, both in the context of paints, drawers and surface materials, are examined and interpreted in chronological order with the works of artists using different materials. The subject was examined through paints such as oil paint and pastel, drawers such as pencil and charcoal, and surface materials such as canvas and wood, and their effects on the language of artistic expression were evaluated. In this direction, the thesis study was carried out in accordance with the hermeneutic pattern. Some examples of works by Edvard Munch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Amedeo Modigliani, Otto Muller and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, who stand out within the scope of the expressionist approach in Western painting, are included. In addition to the important artists of the movement in question, the works of artists who produced their works with an expressionist approach were also examined in the context of the use of artistic materials. In this study, which is based on qualitative research method, documents were used as data collection tools. As a result of the data obtained, it was seen that the artists who produced works with the expressionist approach developed their ability to interpret these materials with the development and strengthening of the materials.
