Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında 20. yüzyıl müziğinin gelişim sürecinden yola çıkılarak, Henri Tomasi Trompet Konçertosu'nun yapısal ve yorumsal incelemesi yapılmıştır. Bunun neticesinde, eseri yorumlarken icracıların çalım kalitelerini arttırmaya yönelik çalışma tekniklerinin çeşitlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Birinci bölümde 20. yüzyıl müziğini şekillendiren önemli tarihi ve müzikal gelişmeler genel hatlarıyla ele alınmış, ikinci bölümde trompetin solo ve orkestra çalgısı olarak 20. yüzyıl Fransız müziği içindeki yerine ve kullanılış biçimlerine örnekler gösterilmiş, aynı zamanda Henri Tomasi'nin hayatı, besteci kimliği ve Trompet Konçertosu hakkında tarihsel bilgilere değinilmiş, son bölümde ise konçertonun yapısal ve yorumsal incelemesinden yola çıkılarak icracıların eseri yorumlarken çalım kalitelerini arttırmaya yönelik çalışma teknikleri önerilmiştir.

In this thesis, the focus lies on examining the structural and interpretative aspects of Henri Tomasi Trumpet Concerto within the framework of 20th-century music development. The objective is to extract practical techniques that enhance the performers' rendition and elevate the overall quality of interpretation. The first section provides an overview of significant historical and musical developments that influenced 20th-century music in a broad sense. The second section explores the role and utilization of the trumpet as a solo and orchestral instrument in French music of the same era. Additionally, it delves into Henri Tomasi's life, his identity as a composer, and provides historical context regarding the Trumpet Concerto. Moving on to the third section, it conducts a comprehensive structural and interpretive analysis of the concerto. Finally, the fourth section presents a range of practical techniques derived from the analysis, aiming to enhance the performers' rendition and elevate the overall quality of interpretation.
