Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin derslerinde beyana dayalı olarak tercih ettikleri öğretim stillerini ve bu stillere yönelik değer algılarını ve derslerinde kullandıkları öğretim stillerinin öğretmenlerin cinsiyet ve öğretmenlik deneyimi sürelerine göre karşılaştırmaktır. Bu araştırmanın katılımcılarını Adana'da lise düzeyinde 25 farklı okulda görev yapan 10 kadın (x̅yaş= 41.07) 20 erkek (x̅yaş= 42.55) toplam 30 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin belirlenmesinde kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacı ile Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenleri Öğretim Stilleri Değer Algıları Anketi ve Öğretim Stilleri Belirleme Aracı kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin derslerinde kullandıkları öğretim stillerini ortaya koymak amacı ile 30 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeninin 40 dk'lık dersi video kamera ile kayıt edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular öğretim stilleri kullanımının cinsiyete göre farklılaşmadığını ancak kadın öğretmenlerin Yönlendirilmiş Buluş stilini erkek öğretmenlerden daha fazla kullanıldığını ortaya koymuştur. Öğretmenlik deneyim süresine göre incelendiğinde deneyim süresi 15 yıl ve daha az olanlar ve 16 yıl ve daha fazla olan öğretmenlerin kullandıkları öğretim stillerinin farklılaşmadığı, ancak Problem Çözme-Tek doğru stilini deneyim süresi 16 yıl ve daha fazla olan öğretmenlerin deneyim süresi 15 yıl ve daha az olan öğretmenlerden daha fazla kullandıkları görülmüştür. Beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin derslerinde yönetsel etkinliklere ayırdıkları süre açısından cinsiyet ve öğretmenlik deneyimi süresine göre fark bulunmamış, yönetsel etkinlikleri öğretmenlerin ders süresinin büyük bir bölümünde kullandıkları ortaya konmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to compare the teaching styles that high school physical education and sports teachers prefer based on their statements in class, their value perceptions of these styles, and the teaching styles they use in their lessons based on the gender and teaching experience of the teachers. The participants of this study consisted of 30 physical education teachers, 10 women (x̅age= 41.07), 20 men (x̅age= 42.55) working in 25 different high school schools in Adana. The convenience sampling method was used to determine the teachers. The Personal Information Form, the Physical Education Teachers' Perceptions of Teaching Styles Instrument, and the Teaching Styles Determination Tool were used to collect data for this study. A 40-minute session of 30 physical education teachers was recorded using a video camera in order to reveal the teaching styles utilized by the teachers in their lessons. Mann-Whitney The U test was employed to analyze the data. The study's findings found that, while the use of teaching styles did not differ by gender, female teachers employed the Guided Discovery Style more than male teachers. The study reveals that the teaching styles used by teachers with 15 years or less experience and those with 16 years or more experience do not differ, but teachers with 16 years or more experience use the Convergent Discovery style more than teachers with 15 years or less experience. The study found no significant difference in the amount of time physical education teachers dedicate to administrative tasks based on gender or teaching experience, but found that administrative activities constituted a significant portion of their instructional time.
