Özet
Edirne Arkeoloji Müzesi'nde korunan Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi' ne tarihlenen Thrakia Bölgesi'nden on bir kent buluntusu ve buluntu yeri belirsiz eserlerle birlikte toplamda doksan yedi heykeltıraşlık eseri çalışma içeriğini, eserlerin tipolojik, stilistik ve ikonografik açıdan değerlendirilmesi ise konunun ana yöntemini oluşturmaktadır. Ainos buluntusu on yedi serbest heykel, iki kabartma, bir adak steli, dört mezar steli, iki lahit ve bir mensa olmak üzere toplamda yirmi yedi heykeltıraşlık eseri birinci bölümde incelenirken, Bergule/Arkadiopolis kenti buluntusu, on dokuz serbest heykel ve parçası ile iki adak steli parçasından oluşan yirmi bir heykeltıraşlık eseri ikinci bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. Hadrianopolis sınırlarında bulunan üç serbest heykel ve parçası ile on iki adak steli ve parçasından oluşan on beş heykeltıraşlık eseri üçüncü bölümde irdelenmiştir. Bizye'den bulunan iki bağımsız heykel parçası, bir adak steli, bir sunak ve bir lahit parçasından oluşan beş heykeltıraşlık eseri dördüncü bölüm kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Herakleia buluntusu dört serbest heykel ve bir mezar stelinden oluşan beş eser, beşinci bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. Katharion/Nikopolis/Hostizo buluntusu üç serbest heykel parçası ve bir adak steli parçasından oluşan dört heykeltıraşlık eseri altıncı bölümde incelenmiştir. Zorlanis/Rhusion'dan bulunan bir serbest heykel, bir mezar steli, bir adak stelinden oluşan eserler yedinci bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Brysis buluntusu, bir serbest heykel ve iki serbest heykel parçasından oluşan üç eser çalışma kapsamında sekizinci bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. Druzipara buluntusu bir adak steli ve bir lahit parçasından oluşan iki heykeltıraşlık eseri dokuzuncu bölümde irdelenmiştir. Bisanthe buluntusu bir serbest heykel parçası kadın başı onuncu bölümde ele alınmıştır. Perinthos buluntusu bir adak steli on birinci bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. On ikinci bölümünde buluntu yeri müze envanter kayıtlarında olmayan ancak tez kapsamında Thrakia Bölgesi heykeltraşlık eserleriyle ilgili olabileceği düşünülen yedi serbest heykel ve parçası, iki adak steli parçası ve bir monopodia parçası ele alınmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında ulaşılan veriler bütünsel olarak on üçüncü bölümde tüm ayrıntılarıyla birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. On dördüncü bölümde ise incelenen eserlerin kataloglarına yer verilmiştir.

In total ninety-seven sculpture artifacts, including those found in uncertain locations, from eleven sites in Thracia Region which were dated to Hellenistic and Roman Empire periods and stored in Edirne Archaeological Museum constitute the content of this study. The evaluation of the sculptures from typological, stylistics, and iconographic perspectives constitutes the main method of the topic. In total twenty-seven sculpture works including seventeen statues, two reliefs, a votive stele, four funerary steles, two sarcophagi, and a mensa which were found in Ainos are addressed in the first chapter. A total of twenty-one sculpture works consist of two fragments of votive steles along with nineteen statues and its fragments discovered from Bergule/Arkadiopolis are examined in the second chapter. In the third chapter, a total of fifteen sculpture artifacts containing three statues and their fragments along with twelve votive stele and their fragments obtained from the borders of Hadrianopolis were examined. Five sculpture works which consist of two statue fragments, a votive stele, an altar, and sarcophagi discovered in Bizye are argued within the scope of chapter four. Five artifacts containing four statues and a votive stele as Herakleia remains are evaluated in chapter five. Four sculpture works consisting of three statues and a votive stele fragment found in Katharion/Nikopolis/Hostizo are discussed in chapter six. The artifacts consist of one statue, one funerary stele, and one votive stele found in Zorlanis/Rhusion constitute chapter seven of this dissertation. Three artifacts, which are composed of one statue and two statue fragments, attained in Brysis are examined in chapter eight. Two sculpture works including a votive stele and a fragment of sarcophagi from Druzipara are addressed in chapter nine. As a Bisanthe remain, the female head, which is a fragment of a statue, is discussed in the tenth chapter. A votive stele from Perinthos is handled in chapter eleven. In the twelfth chapter, seven statues and their fragments, two votive stele fragments, and a fragment of monopodia are scrutinized. Although the exact location of these artifacts is not registered in the inventory of the museum, the aforementioned artifacts are given place in this chapter, because it is considered to be linked with the Thrace Region, which is the main focus area of this dissertation. The findings obtained from this study are discussed holistically, comprehensively, and in detail within chapter thirteenth. Finally, the catalogs of all the examined artifacts are included in the fourteenth chapter.
