Özet

Kaynakların düzensiz ve plansız kullanımı sonucu insanoğlu tarafından çevreye verilen tahribat ve bu tahribatın sonuçları her geçen gün daha da fazla görünür olmaktadır. Turizm endüstrisinin bu tahribatı hızlandıran etkenler listesinde ön sıralarda yer aldığı söylenebilmektedir. Çeşitli politikalar ve uygulamalar kapsamında bu olumsuz etkilerin önüne geçilmesi veya en azından tahribatın en düşük seviyelere indirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Söz konusu politika ve uygulamalar, sürdürülebilir turizm kavramı altında yer almaktadır. Yeşil uygulamalar başlığı, sürdürülebilirlik kavramın alt başlıklarından birisi olup bireyden bütüne, her türlü çevreci hareket ve sistemin pratiğe dökülme sürecini ifade etmektedir. Turist rehberi; işletmeler, personel, yerel halk ve turistler ile doğrudan etkileşim halinde olan bir kişi olarak sektörünün en önemli paydaşlarından birisidir. Bu araştırmada turist rehberlerinin, turlardaki yeşil uygulamalara dair görüşleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Farklı deneyimlere sahip 23 turist rehberi ile yüz yüze ve sanal konferans yöntemi kapsamında görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilmiş veriler analiz edilmiş ve ortaya çıkarılan sonuçlar çerçevesinde gelecekte oluşturulacak sürdürülebilir politikalar kapsamında değerlendirilebilinecek öneriler aktarılmıştır.

As a result of the irregular and unplanned use of resources, the destruction of the environment by humankind and the consequences of this destruction are even more visible day by day. The tourism industry is at the forefront of the list of factors that accelerate this destruction. It is aimed to prevent these adverse effects within the scope of various policies and practices or to reduce the destruction to the lowest levels. The policies and practices in question are under the concept of sustainable tourism. The title of Green Practices is one of the subtitles of the concept of sustainability. It refers to the process of the practice of all kinds of environmental movements and systems, from the individual to the whole. A tourist guide is one of the most critical stakeholders of the sector as a person who directly interacts with businesses, personnel, local people, and tourists. In this study, the opinions of tourist guides on green practices in the tours were tried to be revealed. A qualitative research method was used in the study. Interviews were held with 23 tourist guides who had different job experiences. The obtained data were analyzed, and suggestions to be evaluated within the scope of future sustainable policies to be established within the framework of the results revealed.
