Özet
Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de bulunan ve lisanslı olarak binicilik sporu yapan sporcuların bu spora başlama nedenlerinin ve bu spordan beklentilerinin belirlenmesi, sportif başarıyı ve performansı olumlu yönde etkileyebilecek davranışların incelenmesi amacını taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye Binicilik Federasyonu bünyesindeki tüm branşlar ve Türkiye Geleneksel Spor Dalları Federasyonu bünyesindeki 'Atlı Okçuluk' branşından 2022-2023 sezonunda aktif olarak yer alan toplam 1367 lisanslı binici oluşturmaktadır. Evren içerisinden araştırmaya kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle 123 erkek 164 kadın sporcu olmak üzere toplam 287 sporcu katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ve Sunay ve Saracaloğlu'nun (2003) spordan beklenti ve spora yönelten unsurlar anketi kullanılmıştır. İlgili anketin bazı maddeleri binicilik branşıyla ilgili revize edilmiş ve son halini almıştır. Elde edilen tüm verilere betimsel ve çıkarımsal istatistiki analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. This study aims to determine the reasons and expectations of athletes in Turkey who play equestrian sports under license, to start this sport and to examine the behaviours that may positively affect sports success and performance. The universe of the research consists of 1367 licensed riders of the Turkish Equestrian Federation and the Turkish Traditional Sports Federation, who were actively involved in the 2022-2023 season. A total of 287 athletes, including 123 male and 164 female athletes, participated in the research from the universe with the easy sampling method. Participated. In the research, personal information form as a data collection tool and Sunay and Saracaloğlu's (2003) survey of expectations from sports and factors leading to sports were used. Some articles of the relevant survey have been revised and finalised regarding the equestrian branch. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were carried out on all the data obtained.
