Özet

This study investigates the narrations of al-Ka'bī from Ibn Abi Khaithamah, Yahya ibn Ma'in, and Ali ibn al-Madini about the narrators of Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, in Chapter Seven of the book, Qabul al- Akhbar wa Ma'rifat al-Rijal, by comparing them with the original and non-original sources to reveal the extent of the accuracy of these narrations, and the extent to which the conditions of scientific integrity are fulfilled in their narrations. What makes this study important is that it examines the validity of the narrations made by al-Ka'bī in his book, Qabul al- Akhbar wa Ma'rifat al-Rijal, to challenge the narrators Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. This study aims to introduce al-Ka'bī and the value of his book, Qabul alAkhbar wa Ma'rifat al-Rijal, highlight the aspects of his method in the book, explore the original sources on which he relied, and compare the narrations of scholars from which al-Ka'bī made inferences. This study adopts an inductive, analytical, and critical approach. It has reached a number of conclusions where the most important of which are: Many types of dispositions emerged from the comparison of al-Ka'bī's narrations of Ibn Abi Khaithamah, Yahya ibn Ma'in, and Ali ibn al-Madini about the narrators of Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, based on the original sources and the others. Besides, there are a number of apparent dispositions resulting from the method that al-Ka'bī has used in his narrations, which led to a flaw in his scientific integrity.
