Özet
The current study aimed to assess the spatiotemporal probability of landslide occurrences, also accounting for wildfires' effects using machine learning algorithms. For this purpose, three different machine learning algorithms, including random forest (RF), support vector machine (SVM) and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) were used to build spatiotemporal models (main models) by analyzing 13 different landslide conditioning factors, namely, slope angle, slope aspect, plan and profile curvature, geo-lithology, land use, distance to drainage networks, topographic wetness index (TWI), rainfall and 4 factors diversified from wildfire data set. Also, spatiotemporal models were created with the same algorithms without taking the wildfire effect into account (ablation models). Thus, the effect of the wildfire's effect on the landslide prediction models was evaluated spatiotemporally by comparing the model performances in the two cases. There were approximately decreases of 10% in the performance of the models that did not take into account the wildfire effect. Besides, the spatiotemporal change in the landslide susceptibility of the study area (Camaldoli Hill, Naples, Italy) was examined by producing landslide susceptibility maps for each year from the main models.
