Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Eurimages Sinema Destek Fonu tarafından desteklenen Türk filmlerinde Türklük kavramının nasıl temsile taşındığının ortaya konulup, ilgili literatüre katkı sağlamaktır. Çalışma kapsamında 1990-2023 yılları arasında Fondan destek alan 103 adet Türk filmi evreni içinden amaçlı örneklem yöntemiyle 13 adet film belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen bu filmler çeşitli kategorilerle niteliksel içerik çözümlemesi ile değerlendirilmiş, toplanan veriler, nitel yöntemler kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir Çalışmanın sonucunda bir Avrupa Birliği Kurumu olan Eurimages'in desteklediği Türk filmlerinde oryantalist bakış açısının da etkisiyle belli bir Türk kimliği oluşturduğu görülmüştür. Eğitim düzeyi düşük, ataerkil toplum düzeninin etkisini sürdürdüğü, bağnaz, yobaz bir din inanışı içinde, kadına saygısı alt sevide, eşcinsel eğilimleri olan, cesur, aile bağları kuvvetli, zaman zaman çağının ilerisinde, kültürlü vb. gibi olumlu ve olumsuz kodlarla tarif ettiği bir Türk kimliğini filmler aracılığı ile temsile taşımış olduğu görülmüştür.

The aim of this study is to determine how the concept of Turkishness is conveyed to representation in the films supported by Eurimages Cinema Support Fund and contribute to the related literature. Within the scope of the study, from the universe of 103 Turkish films that received support from the Fund between 1990 and 2023, 13 films were determined using the intended methods. These determined films were evaluated with qualitative content analysis in various categories, and the collected data were analyzed using qualitative methods. As a result of the study, it was seen that Turkish films supported by Eurimages, a European Union Institution, created a certain Turkish identity with the influence of the orientalist perspective. It was seen that Turkish identity was conveyed to the representation with positive and negative codes such as having low level of education, being influenced by patriarchal social order, having a bigoted, zealous religious belief, having low respect for women, having homosexual tendencies, being brave, having strong family ties, occasionally being ahead of the time they are living in, cultured, etc. by these films.
