Özet

Son çeyrek asırda küreselleşen dünyada girişimcilik gittikçe daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Fırsatları kullanabilen, engelleri fırsata çevirebilen ve en iyi şekilde maddi kâr sağlamak için bir başarısızlığa hazırlıklı, risk alabilen kişilere girişimci denmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Atatürk Üniversitesi Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümü (BBYB) lisans öğrencilerinin girişimcilik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Çalışmada örneklem grubu Atatürk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi BBYB'de eğitim gören 187 lisans öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında Yılmaz ve Sümbül (2009) tarafından geliştirilen“Üniversite Öğrencileri Girişimcilik Ölçeği (ÜÖGÖ)”kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 21 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde t-testi ve ANOVA testleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, en son mezun olunan okul türü, ikamet yeri, kardeş sayısı, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyine, anne ve baba çalıştığı sektör değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar olmadığı saptanmıştır.

Entrepreneurship has become an increasingly important concept in the globalizing world in the last quarter century. Entrepreneurs are people who can use opportunities, turn obstacles into opportunities, and are prepared for a failure and take risks in order to make the most of material profits. The main purpose of this study is to determine the entrepreneurship levels of Atatürk University Information and Document Management undergraduate students. The sample group of the study consists of 187 students, studying in the Department of Information and Document Management of the Faculty of Letters of Atatürk University. Quantitative method is used in the research. The 'University Students Entrepreneurship Scale' developed by Yılmaz and Hyacinth (2009) is used to collect data in the research. The data are analyzed using the SPSS 21 statistical package program. T-test and ANOVA tests are used in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the study, it is determined that there are no significant differences according to the gender, class level, the type of school of last graduated, the place of residence, the number of siblings, the level of mother and father education, and the sector variables in which the mother and father worked.
