Özet
Bu çalışma, Schopenhauer'ın değer hakkındaki düşüncelerini incelemektedir. Schopenhauer'ın sistemi takip edilerek yapılan inceleme dünya hakkındaki düşünceleri ile başlar. Dünyanın özünü isteme olarak gören Schopenhauer, yaşanılan ıstırabın ve can sıkıntısının kaynağını isteme ile ilişkilendirerek açıklar. Aslında Schopenhauer, yaşamın bizi mahkum ettiği bu durum aracılığıyla insanın dünya içinde yaşadıklarını açığa çıkarmaktadır. İşte bu nokta, Schopenhauer'ın değer felsefesinin hem önem hem de açıklık kazandığı bir noktadır. Çünkü insan, dünyanın özünün isteme olduğunu keşfettiğinde aslında hem kendisinin hem de dünyanın değersizliği ile yüzleşir. Ancak bu yüzleşme, Schopenhauer'ın asket olarak adlandırdığı çileci insan için değerin ortaya çıktığı bir yüzleşmedir. Bu yüzden Schopenhauer için insan, dünyanın değersizliği ile yüzleşip kendisinin ve türdeşinin can sıkıntısı ile ıstırap arasında salındığını anladığında dünyadan el etek çekmemelidir. Aksine yapması gereken dünyayı olduğu hali ile kabul edip türdeşlerine karşı merhametle yaklaşmaktır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Schopenhauer'ın değer hakkındaki görüşlerini açıklayarak alana bir katkı sunmaktır. Çalışmada ana kaynak olarak Schopenhauer'a ait kitaplar kullanılmış ve değer hakkındaki düşünceleri analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda Schopenhauer'ın değersizlikten bir değer elde ettiği ortaya çıkmıştır.

This study examines Schopenhauer's thoughts on value. An examination following Schopenhauer's system begins with his thoughts on the world. Schopenhauer, who regards the essence of the world as desire, explains the source of the suffering and boredom experienced by relating it to desire. In fact, Schopenhauer reveals what humans experience within the world through this situation in which life condemns us. This is the point at which Schopenhauer's philosophy of value gains both importance and clarity. Because when a person discovers that the essence of the world is desire, they actually confront not only their own worthlessness but also the worthlessness of the world. However, this confrontation is a moment of value for the ascetic individual, as Schopenhauer calls them. Therefore, for Schopenhauer, when a person understands that they are caught between the worthlessness of the world and the suffering of themselves and their fellow beings, they should not withdraw from the world but should instead accept it as it is and approach their fellow beings with compassion. On the contrary, what they should do is accept the world as it is and approach their fellow beings with compassion. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the field by explaining Schopenhauer's views on value. In the study, primary sources from Schopenhauer's own books have been used, and his thoughts on value have been analyzed. As a result of the study, it was revealed that Schopenhauer obtained value from valuelessness.
