Özet
Günümüzde, inşaat sektörü dünya genelinde ekonomik kalkınmanın temel taşlarından birini oluştururken, bu sektörde faaliyet gösteren küçük ve orta ölçekli inşaat şirketleri, ekonomik büyümenin itici gücü olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu şirketlerin başarılı faaliyetlerine birçok faktör etki ederken, bu faktörlerden birisi de işçilerin zihinsel sağlığı olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu araştırmanın amacı, küçük ve orta ölçekli inşaat şirketlerinde çalışan işçilerin zihinsel sağlığını çok yönlü olarak incelemektir. Araştırma, işçilerin zihinsel sağlığını etkileyebilecek çeşitli faktörleri değerlendirmeyi ve uygun stratejiler geliştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Çalışma nicel yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiş olup, veriler İstanbul ilinde küçük ve orta ölçekli inşaat şirketlerinde çalışan işçilerle yapılan anketlerden elde edilmiştir. Toplam 31 sorudan oluşan anket formu hedef kitleden tesadüfi olarak seçilmiş 216 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, veri analizinde farklı istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Kişisel değişkenler betimleyici istatistiklerle incelenmiş, araştırma ve kişisel değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için fark testleri uygulanmıştır.Yaşam alanı, depresyon grup ortalama düzeyini etkilemektedir. Şantiyede yaşayan katılımcıların depresyon puanları, apartmanda yaşayanlara göre daha yüksektir.Stres ve anksiyete grup ortalama düzeyleri, yaşam alanından etkilenmemektedir.Kronik rahatsızlık durumu, anksiyete grup ortalama düzeyini etkilemektedir. Kronik rahatsızlığı olan katılımcıların anksiyete puanları, kronik rahatsızlığı olmayanlara göre daha yüksektir. Son olarak kronik rahatsızlığı olan katılımcıların anksiyete puanları, kronik rahatsızlığı olmayan katılımcılara göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Today, while the construction sector constitutes one of the cornerstones of economic development around the world, small and medium-sized construction companies operating in this sector stand out as the driving force of economic growth. While many factors affect the successful operations of these companies, one of these factors is thought to be the mental health of workers. In this context, the aim of this research is to examine the mental health of workers working in small and medium-sized construction companies in a multi-faceted manner. The research aims to evaluate various factors that may affect workers' mental health and develop appropriate strategies. The study was carried out with a quantitative method, and the data was obtained from surveys conducted with workers working in small and medium-sized construction companies in Istanbul. The survey form, consisting of a total of 31 questions, was applied to 216 randomly selected people from the target audience. As data analysis methods, descriptive statistical methods were used to examine personal variables, difference tests were used to examine the relationship between research variables and personal variables, and to compare the scores obtained from data measurement tools with demographic variables. It was determined that the participants' living environment affected the group average level of depression, while it did not affect the group average level of stress and anxiety. Finally, it was determined that the depression scores of the participants living on the construction site were higher than the participants living in the apartment. It was determined that the chronic illness status of the participants affected the anxiety group average level, while stress and depression did not affect the group average level. Finally, it was determined that the anxiety scores of participants with chronic diseases were higher than those of participants without chronic diseases.
