Özet
Araştırmada,“Sesle şifa nasıl sağlanmaktadır?”ve“Ses terapisi ile müzik terapi arasındaki farklar nelerdir?”soruları çerçevesinde ses ve müziğin terapötik amaçlı kullanım yöntemlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. İncelemede ses ve müziğin terapötik amaçlı kullanımı üzerine literatür taraması yapılarak mevcut yöntemler derlenmiş ve aralarındaki farklar araştırılmıştır. Literatür incelemesi sonucunda, insan vücudunda organların kendine özgü imzası niteliğinde titreşimleri olduğu ve bu titreşimlerdeki bozulan uyumu düzeltmek, dengelemek için yüzyıllar boyunca farklı sesle şifa yöntemlerinden faydalanıldığı görülmüştür. Bedeni, zihni ve ruhu iyileştirmek için sesin bir araç olarak kullanılması, literatürde farklı isimlerle anılabilmektedir. Ancak ses, müziği de içine alan en genel kavram olduğu için bu çalışmada ses ve müziğin terapötik amaçla kullanıldığı yöntemlerin hepsi“sesle şifa yöntemleri”olarak adlandırılmıştır. İnceleme sonuçları, sesle şifa yöntemleri arasında en ayırt edici özelliğin belirli frekanslardaki sesin veya sesle birlikte ritim, melodi ve armoni bileşenlerini de içeren müziğin kullanılması olduğunu göstermektedir.

This study aims to examine the therapeutic methods of using sound and music by addressing the questions“How is healing achieved through sound?”and“What are the differences between sound therapy and music therapy?”. A literature review was conducted on the use of sound and music for therapeutic purposes, compiling existing methods and highlighting the differences between them. The literature review indicated that organs in the human body have their unique signature vibrations, and various sound healing methods have been used for centuries to correct disrupted harmony in these vibrations. The use of sound as a tool to heal the body, mind, and spirit can be referred to by different names in the literature. However, since sound is the most general concept encompassing music, all methods using sound and music for therapeutic purposes in this study have been termed“sound healing methods.”The results the literature review suggest that the most distinctive feature among sound healing methods is whether only specific frequencies of sound are used or whether music, including rhythm, melody, and harmony components, are used along with sound.
