Özet

Kur'an'ın anlaşılmasının tarihi sürecinin ilk evresinde, Kur'an'ı tefsir etmenin kendine mahsus bir naklinin bulunduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Buna göre sahabe sonrası tabiûn dönemi müfessirlerinin Kur'an tefsir çalışmaları, Kur'an'ı anlama faaliyetinin sahabîlerden alınarak diğer nesillere nakledilmesinde çok önemli bir vazife üstlenmişlerdir. Bilhassa sahabî müfessir İbn Abbas ile başlayan Kur'an'ı anlama çabalarına dair oluşan kültürel birikim, nesilden nesile sistemli bir şekilde aktarılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu süreçte ön plana çıkan şahıslardan birisi Mücâhid b. Cebr'dir. Zira o tabiûn döneminde yaşamış, hocası İbn Abbâs'ın tefsir nakillerini aktaran en kıymetli müfessirlerden birisi kabul edilmiştir. Öyle ki birçok âlim Mücâhid'i kendisine güvenilen sikâ bir tabiûn âlimi olarak değerlendirmiş ve böyle kabul etmiştir. Buna ilave olarak Mücâhid, birçok tefsir talebesi yetiştirmiş, kendisinden sonra kaleme alınan tefsirlere kaynak olmuştur. Bu bağlamda Mücâhid'in tefsirini esas alan ve onu bir otorite olarak gören müfessirlerden birisi de Süfyân es-Sevrî olmuştur. Zira Süfyân es-Sevrî, Mücâhid'i Kur'an'ın anlaşılmasına dair kendisine müracaat edilecek ilk isimlerden birisi olarak görmektedir. Bunun en önemli göstergesi de Süfyân'ın Mücâhid'in tefsirinden oldukça fazla bir şekilde yararlanması ve tefsir bilgilerinin birçoğunu ondan aktarmasıdır. İşte tam bu noktada tezimizde Süfyân ile Mücâhid'in tefsir nakillerini çeşitli açılardan incelemeye tabi tutacağız. Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde ilk olarak söz konusu müfessirlerin hayatlarına dair bilgiler verdik. Daha sonra bu müfessirlerin tefsir ilim geleneğindeki konumlarına değindik. Bu bölümde son olarak ise söz konusu müfessirlere nispet edilen tefsir eserlerinin tanıtımına ve onlara aidiyeti gibi hususlara yer verdik. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümün de ise Süfyân es- Sevrî tefsirindeki Mücâhid b. Cebr'e ait nakillerin örneklendirerek mukayesesini yaptık. Şu açık bir şekilde görünmektedir ki Süfyân, Kur'an'daki pekçok ayetin izahı sadedinde Mücâhid'in açıklamalarını esas almıştır. Öyle ki Mücâhid'ten aynı şekilde yararlandığı durumlar olduğu gibi lafız faklılığı olsa bile mana bakımından aynı olan birçok bilgiyi ondan nakletmiştir. İşte bu husus Süfyân'ın Mücâhid'i tefsirde otorite olarak görmesinin en önemli kanıtları arasındadır.

We can say that in the first phase of the historical process of understanding the Quran, interpreting the Quran had its own unique transfer. Accordingly, the Quran exegesis studies of the commentators of the Tabiun period after the companions undertook a very important task in transferring the activity of understanding the Quran from the companions to other generations. In particular, the cultural accumulation of efforts to understand the Quran, which started with the companion commentator Ibn Abbas, has begun to be transferred systematically from generation to generation. One of the people who stood out in this process was Mujahid ibn Jabr. Because he was accepted as one of the most valuable commentators who lived in the Tabiun period and conveyed the tafsir transfers of his teacher Ibn Abbas. So much so that many scholars evaluated Mujahid as a trustworthy and reliable scholar of the subject and accepted him as such. In addition, Mujahid trained many tafsir students and became a source for the tafsir written after him. In this context, one of the commentators who took Mujahid as a basis in his interpretation and saw him as an authority was Sufyan al-Thawri. Because Sufyan al-Thawri sees Mujahid as one of the first names to be consulted regarding the understanding of the Quran. The most important indicator of this is that Sufyan made great use of Mujahid in his commentary and conveyed most of the exegetical information without his approval. At this point, in our thesis, we will examine the tafsir transmissions of Sufyan and Mujahid from various perspectives. In the first part of our study, we first gave information about the lives of the commentators in question. Then, we touched upon the positions of these commentators in the tradition of tafsir science. Finally, in this section, we included the introduction of the tafsir works attributed to the commentators in question and issues such as their belonging to them. In the second part of our study, we compared the narrations of Mujahid Ibn. Jabr in the commentary of Sufyan al-Thawri by giving examples. It is clearly seen that Sufyan took Mujahid's explanations as basis in explaining many verses in the Quran. So much so that, while there were occasions when he benefited from Mujahid in the same way, he conveyed a lot of information from him with the same meaning. This issue is among the most important evidence that Sufyan sees Mujahid as an authority in tafsir.
