Özet
Bu çalışma, spor bilimleri fakültesinde okuyan öğrencilerin metaverseye bakış açılarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma evrenini 9 farklı devlet üniversitesinde Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi bölümlerinde okuyan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır, araştırmanın örneklemini ise 9 farklı devlet üniversitesinde Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi bölümlerinde okuyan gönüllü 249 erkek ve 111 kadın olmak üzere toplam 360 katılımcı öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak;“Demografik Bilgi Formu”ve“Metaverse Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS paket programı aracılığıyla yapılmıştır. İkili grup ortalamalarının karşılaştırılmasında“Bağımsız gruplar t testi”ve ikiden fazla grup ortalamalarının karşılaştırılmasında“One Way ANOVA”testi uygulanmıştır. ANOVA testi sonucunda anlamlı çıkan sonuçlarda farkı meydana getiren grubun hangisi olduğunu belirlemek için post hoc testlerinden“Tukey test”yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularında, öğrencilerin yaş faktörüne göre metaverse bakış açısı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve yüksek çıkmıştır, çalışma cinsiyet bakımından incelendiğinde anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır (p>0,05), öğrencilerin metaverse bakış açıları sınıf düzeyine göre analiz edildiğinde istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Öğrencilerin internette geçirdikleri zaman bakımından incelendiğinde fark anlamlı ve yüksek çıkmıştır (p<0,05), öğrencilerin yapmış oldukları spor branşına göre incelendiğinde takım sporları yapanlar, bireysel spor yapanlara oranla fark yüksek ve anlamlı çıkmıştır (p<0,05). Öğrencilerin metaverse kavramını bilme durumuna göre karşılaştırılmıştır, anlamlı bir fark gösterdiği belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Öğrencilerin bölüm değişkenine göre metaverse bakış açıları karşılaştırılmış istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark gösterdiği saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Öğrencilerin metaversenin gelişimi ile sanal dünyada yapılacak yeni spor dallarının ortaya çıkacağına dair inançlarına göre metaverse ölçek alt boyutu puan ortalamalarının karşılaştırılmasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05).

This study was conducted to examine the perspectives of students studying at the faculty of sports sciences on the metaverse. The research population consists of students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at 9 different state universities, and the sample of the research consists of a total of 360 participating students, 249 male and 111 female volunteers, studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at 9 different state universities. As a data collection tool;“Demographic Information Form”and“Metaverse Scale”were used. The analysis of the data obtained was made through the SPSS package program.“Independent groups t test”was used to compare the means of two groups, and“One Way ANOVA”test was used to compare the means of more than two groups. The“Tukey test”method, one of the post hoc tests, was used to determine which group made the difference in the significant results as a result of the ANOVA test. In the research findings, students' metaverse perspective was statistically significant and high according to their age factor. When the study was analyzed in terms of gender, no significant difference was found (p>0.05). When students' metaverse perspectives were analyzed according to grade level, a statistically significant difference was found (p)<0.05). When the students were examined in terms of the time they spent on the internet, the difference was significant and high (p<0.05), and when the students were examined according to the sports branch they played, the difference was high and significant for those who played team sports compared to those who did individual sports (p<0.05). It was compared according to the students' knowledge of the concept of metaverse, and it was determined that there was a significant difference (p<0.05). Students' metaverse perspectives were compared according to the department variable and it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). A statistically significant difference was detected when comparing the mean scores of the metaverse scale subscale according to students' beliefs that new sports branches to be performed in the virtual world will emerge with the development of the metaverse (p<0.05).
