Özet
T.C. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Devlet Arşivleri Osmanlı Arşivi defter serisinde yer alan Anadolu Ahkâm defterleri tezin ana kaynağını oluşturmuştur. Bursa ve yakın çevresinden Divânı Hümâyuna iletilen şikâyet kayıtlarının tutulduğu bu defterlerden 1808-1839 tarih aralığındaki hükümler tespit edilmiştir. Devletin en üst makamı hükümdarın temsil edildiği Divana iletilen bu ihtilâflı meselelerin çeşitliliği ve yoğunluğu sebebiyle oldukça zengin bir veri kaynağıyla karşılaşırken öte yandan karmaşık bir veri yığınının sarmalı içine girilmiştir. Dönemin toplumsal yaşamı, iktisadi faaliyetleri, şahıslar arasındaki anlaşmazlıklar, şikâyet unsuru içeren ihtilâflar üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Müslüman nüfusun yanı sıra gayrimüslim nüfusun da yoğun olarak bir arada yaşadığı bir kent olarak yerelde yaşanan ihtilâflı meselelere merkezi otoriteden çözüm arayışına cevap olarak iletilen şikâyetler, hükümlere yansıdığı nispetde dönemin sosyal ve eko-nomik şartlarına ilişkin çok değerli bilgiler sunmuştur. Zamansal ve mekânsal anlamda bir sınır-lama konularak dönemin Bursa şehrinde ve günün Osmanlı şehirli toplumunda sosyal ve eko-nomik yaşayışı, anlamaya ve açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.

The Anatolian Ahkam books in the Ottoman Archives of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey State Archives are the main source of this thesis. The judgements between the dates 1808-1839 were identified from these books, where the complaint records from Bursa and its neighbourhood were kept. Due to the diversity and intensity of these disputed issues submit-ted to the Divān, where the highest authority of the state, the sovereign, is represented, we have encountered a very rich source of data, while on the other hand, we have entered into the spiral of a complex mass of data. The social life of the period, economic activities, and dispu-tes between individuals are analysed through disputes that contain an element of complaint. As a city where both Muslim and non-Muslim populations lived together, the complaints sub-mitted in response to the central authority's search for solutions to local disputes provided valuable information on the social and economic conditions of the period as reflected in the judgements. By setting a temporal and spatial limitation, an attempt has been made to unders-tand and explain the social and economic life in the city of Bursa and the Ottoman urban soci-ety of the day.
