Özet
Bu araştırma, ortaokulda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin evdeki müziksel ortamlarını incelemeyi amaçlayan, açıklayıcı desende gerçekleştirilmiş, karma bir çalışmadır. Tabakalı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenen örneklem grubu, Niğde il merkezinde bulunan 3 farklı ortaokulda öğrenim gören 314 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Özmenteş tarafından geliştirilmiş olan“Evdeki Müziksel Ortam Ölçeği”ve müzik dersine giren öğretmenlerin görüşünü almak amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan“Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu”kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan evdeki müziksel ortam ölçeği 3 boyuttan, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ise 6 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda, Evdeki Müziksel Ortam Ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasında en yüksek puanın evde müzik tüketme alt boyutuna ilişkin olduğu, öğrencilerin evdeki müziksel ortamlarının yeterli olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin evdeki müziksel ortam puanlarında; cinsiyet değişkenine göre kız öğrenciler lehine, sınıf düzeyine göre 5. sınıf öğrencileri lehine, şu an ve geçmişte müzik aleti çalma durumuna göre müzik aleti çalan öğrenciler lehine, anne/baba müzik aleti çalma durumuna göre anne/ babası müzik aleti çalan öğrenciler lehine, müzik topluluğuna üye olma durumuna göre topluluğa üye olan öğrenciler lehine anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığı ile elde edilen veriler, çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçları desteklemektedir.

This research is a mixed study with an explanatory design that aims to examine the musical environment of secondary school students at home. The sample group, which was determined using stratified sampling method, consists of 314 students studying in 3 different secondary schools in Niğde city centre. In order to collect the data, the 'Musical Environment at Home Scale' developed by Özmenteş and the 'Semi-structured Interview Form' prepared by the researcher to obtain the opinions of the music teachers were used. The Home Musical Environment Scale which consists of 3 dimensions and the semistructured interview form which consists of 6 questions were used in the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that the highest score among the subdimensions of the Musical Environment at Home Scale was related to the sub-dimension of consuming music at home, and the students' musical environment at home was not sufficient. It was determined that there were significant differences in the musical environment at home scores of the students in favour of female students according to the gender variable, in favour of 5th grade students according to the grade level, in favour of students who play musical instruments according to their current and past musical instrument playing status, in favour of parents who play musical instruments according to their parents' musical instrument playing status, and in favour of students who are members of the ensemble according to their membership to the music ensemble. The data obtained through the semi-structured interview form supports the results of the study.
