Özet
İnsanlık tarihi boyunca Anadolu'nun önemli yerleşim yerlerinden olan Bergama, Osmanlı hakimiyetine girene kadar Lidya, Pers, Makedonya, Selevkos, Roma, Bizans, Menteşe ve Karesi hakimiyetinde kalarak bu uygarlıklara ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Osmanlı döneminde Bergama'da sosyal eserler inşa edilerek bölge mimari açıdan büyük bir gelişim göstermiştir. Bu gelişimde hayırseverlerin kurduğu vakıflar etkili olmuştur. Bu kapsamda Bergama'da bulunan vakıf yapılara dair bazı bilgilere ulaşma amacıyla hurufat defterleri kullanılmıştır. Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü Arşivinde Bergama kazasına dair 23 hurufat defteri bulunmakla birlikte 590 atama kaydı tespit edilmiştir. Kayıtlar 1691-1834 yıllarını kapsayıp 143 yıllık bir zaman dilimine ait olmakla birlikte çoğunlukla XVIII. yüzyıla aittir. Hurufat kayıtlarında kaza statüsünde olan bölgenin idari görevlileri, cami, mescit, tekke, zaviye, medrese, mektep, han, hamam gibi vakıf yapılar araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca vakıf yapıların inşa tarihleri, kim tarafından inşa edildiği, gelirleri, ne kadar süre ayakta kaldığı, görevlileri ve aldıkları ücretler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hurufat defterlerinden elde edilen bu veriler şeriyye sicilleri, devlet arşivleri başkanlığı, tevliyet ve tevcih defteri, Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü arşivleri ve daha önce kaza üzerine yazılmış kaynaklar ile desteklenmiştir.

Bergama, one of the important settlements of Anatolia throughout human history, hosted these by remaining under the rule of Lydia, Persia, Macedonia, Selevkos, Rome, Byzantium, Menteşe and Karesi until it came under Ottoman rule. During the Ottoman period, social works were built in Bergama and the region showed great architectural development. Foundations established by philanthropists have a great impact on this development. In this context, type books were used to obtain some information about the foundation buildings in Bergama. In the Archives of the General Directorate of , there are 23 typebooks regarding the Bergama district, and 590 records have been identified. Although the records cover the years 1691-1834 and belong to a period of 143 years, they mostly date back to the 18th century. It belongs to the century. Administrative officials of the region, which has the status of a township, and foundation buildings such as mosques, masjids, lodges, lodges, madrasahs, schools, inns and baths were searched in the typeface records. In addition, an attempt was made to determine the construction dates of the foundation buildings, who built them, their income, how long they survived, their staff and the wages they received. These data obtained from the Hurufat books were supported by the court records, the state archives directorate, the tevliyet and tevcih book, the archives of the general directorate of foundations and the sources previously written on the district.
