Özet (Çeviri)
Unscheduled, frequent, and prolonged grid outages are prevalent challenges in many developing countries. To counter these disruptions, industrial parks and other users often resort to backup diesel generators, which, despite their reliability, present environmental concerns and high operational costs. As a sustainable alternative, renewable energy sources, such as solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbine generators (WTG), integrated with energy storage systems (ESS), offer viable solutions to enhance resilience and energy security. This research investigates the integration of Distributed Generation (DG) sources within microgrids, aiming to enhance energy efficiency, reliability, and resilience. The study addresses key research questions surrounding the efficient integration of renewable sources, control strategies for reliable microgrid operation in both grid-connected and islanded modes, and the role of ESS in stabilizing power supply. Through designing and modeling a microgrid that includes a range of DG sources, ESS, and advanced control techniques such as power flow control, demand response, and fault management, the research evaluates the performance and reliability of microgrids under fluctuating generation conditions. Findings from simulations demonstrate that incorporating renewable energy sources, particularly wind energy combined with intelligent control algorithms, improves power quality, minimizes reliance on grid power, and increases resilience against load and generation variability. Additionally, the study recommends hybrid configurations, incorporating both solar PV and wind energy, to mitigate the intermittent nature of renewable resources. The results highlight the potential for renewable-based microgrids to offer a more sustainable and resilient energy solution, emphasizing the need for innovative control strategies to ensure consistent and reliable power supply in response to real-time load demands.
