Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, preterm doğum yapan annelere uygulanan VRBaby-Pump uygulamasının annelerin süt sağma deneyimine, anneliğe geçiş sürecine ve süt miktarına etkisini belirlemektir. Yöntem: Araştırma verileri Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Antalya Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Perinatoloji ve Obstetri Kliniğinde 27 Ocak- 17 Nisan 2025 tarihleri arasında 88 (44 primipar, 44 multipar) preterm doğum yapan anne ile yürütülmüştür. VRBaby-Pump uygulaması sanal ortamda oluşturulan bir bebek odası ve oyuncak bir bebeğin kafasına geçirilen giyilebilir süt sağma pompasından oluşmaktadır. Müdahale grubundaki annelere doğum sonrası süt sağma eğitimiyle birlikte iki gün günde bir kez 15 dakika VRBaby-Pump uygulaması uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubundaki annelere sadece süt sağma eğitimi verilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Anne Sütü Sağma Deneyimi Ölçeği, Anneliğe Geçiş Ölçeği ve Günlük Süt Miktarı Takip Formu kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Müdahale ve kontrol grubundaki annelerin anne sütü sağma deneyimi (p˂0.001), anneliğe geçiş (p˂0.001) ve süt miktarları (p˂0.001) arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Müdahale grubundaki annelerin anne sütü sağma deneyiminin ve anneliğe geçişinin kontrol grubundaki annelerden daha olumlu ve süt miktarının daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca kontrol grubundaki primipar annelerin anne sütü sağma deneyiminin multipar annelerin anne sütü sağma deneyiminden daha olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: VRBaby-Pump uygulamasının preterm doğum yapan annelerin anne sütü sağma deneyimini ve anneliğe geçişini daha olumlu olmasında ve süt miktarının arttırılmasında etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the VRBaby-Pump application applied to mothers who gave birth preterm on the mothers' breastfeeding experience, transition to motherhood and milk quantity. Method: The research data were conducted with 88 (44 primiparous, 44 multiparous) mothers who gave birth preterm at the Health Sciences University Antalya Education and Research Hospital Perinatology and Obstetrics Clinic between January 27 and April 17, 2025. The VRBaby-Pump application consists of a baby room created in a virtual environment and a wearable breast pump that is placed on the head of a toy doll. The mothers in the intervention group received the VRBaby-Pump application for 15 minutes once a day for two days along with postpartum breast milk expression training. The mothers in the control group received only breast milk expression training. The Personal Information Form, Breast Milk Expression Experience Scale, Transition to Motherhood Scale and Daily Milk Volume Tracking Form were used as data collection tools. Results: A statistically significant difference was found between the experience of expressing breast milk (p˂0.001), transition to motherhood (p˂0.001) and milk volume of the mothers (p˂0.001) in the intervention and control groups. It was determined that the experience of expressing breast milk and transition to motherhood of the mothers in the intervention group were more positive and the amount of milk was higher than the mothers in the control group. It was also determined that the experience of expressing breast milk of the primiparous mothers in the control group was more positive than the experience of expressing breast milk of the multiparous mothers. Conclusion: It has been determined that the VRBaby-Pump application is effective in increasing the amount of milk and making the breast milk expression experience of mothers who give birth preterm more positive and their transition to motherhood.
