Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde eğitim gören çocuklarının ailelerinin işlevselliklerinin farklı sosyoekonomik ve kültürel bölgelere göre incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmanın evreni İstanbul ili Avcılar, Esenyurt ve Şişli ilçesinde yer alan çeşitli özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerine devam eden özel gereksinimli çocuklarının aileleridir. Araştırmanın örneklem gurubu ise amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş ve araştırmaya katılmak için gönüllü olan 420 aile oluşturmaktadır. Ailelere mevcutta devam ettikleri özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezleri aracılığı ile ölçek ve anketler uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri; bu araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu ve Rehabilitasyonda Aile İşlevselliği Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde, özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde eğitim gören özel gereksinimli çocukların ailelerinden elde edilecek veriler SPSS-28 istatistik programında kodlanarak analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda öncelikle katılımcıların kişisel bilgilerine ilişkin frekans ve yüzdeler hesap edilecektir. Araştırma sonunda aile işlevselliğinin yaşanılan yere, ebeveynin cinsiyetine, öğrenim durumuna, özel gereksinimli çocuğun cinsiyetine, aile tipine, ailenin ekonomik düzeyine, ailedeki çocuk sayısına, özel gereksinimli çocuğun yaşına ve tanısına göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek puan aldığı sonucu elde edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the functionality of families of children receiving education in special education and rehabilitation centers, considering different socioeconomic and cultural regions. The population of this research consists of families of children with special needs attending various special education and rehabilitation centers located in the districts of Avcılar, Esenyurt, and Şişli in Istanbul. The sample group of the study comprises 420 families selected using the purposive sampling method and who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. Scales and questionnaires were administered to the families through the special education and rehabilitation centers they are currently attending. The data for this study were collected using the Sociodemographic Information Form and the Family Functionality in Rehabilitation Scale as data collection tools. During the research process, the data obtained from the families of children with special needs receiving education in special education and rehabilitation centers were coded and analyzed using the SPSS-28 statistical program. In this context, frequencies and percentages regarding the participants' personal information will be calculated initially. At the end of the study, it was concluded that family functionality scores were significantly higher depending on factors such as the place of residence, the parent's gender, educational level, the gender of the child with special needs, family type, the family's economic status, the number of children in the family, the age, and diagnosis of the child with special needs.
