Özet
Bu çalışma, estetik kaygının düşünce tarihi boyunca bir incelemesini ve izletisini ifade etmektedir. Bu anlamda, estetik kaygıyı gerçeklikle ilişkisi içerisinde ele alan çalışma, modern ve postmodern olmak üzere iki dönem temelinde incelenmektedir. Çalışma, estetik kaygının tarihsel dönüşümünü sistematik ve problematik bir çerçevede ele almakta; modern ve postmodern dönemlerde estetik ve sanatsal gerçeklik anlayışlarını kendi içlerinde sınıflandırarak değerlendirmektedir. Bu anlamda, modern dönemde Baumgarten Kant'a kadar estetiğin gerçekliğin temsili; Alman idealizmi ile birlikte estetiğin (güzelliğin) gerçekliğin kendisi; ardından 19. yüzyılın sonlarına doğru estetiğin zorunlu bir gerçekliği temsil etmediği; ve son aşamada zorunlu gerçekliğin kendisinin de reddedildiği; böylece postmoderne kadar her düşünürün kendi gerçeklik anlayışı özelinde estetiği yorumladıkları bir yaklaşım olan estetikte perspektivizmin ortaya çıktığı görülmüştür. Çalışmaya dair söz konusu sınıflandırma, modern estetik düşüncenin çok yönlü kırılma noktalarını görünür kılmaya çalışmıştır. Postmodern dönemde ise, çağın değişen teorik ve pratik koşullarına bağlı olarak varlık düşüncesinde bir çözülme yaşanmış, bu çözülme gerçeklik anlayışlarını da çok parçalı, göreli ve çoğulcu hale getirmiştir. Bu yüzden, postmodern estetikte gerçeklik artık yekpare bir kavram olmaktan çıkarak farklı sanatsal yaklaşımlar doğrultusunda yeniden şekillenmiştir. Postmodern bağlamda estetik terimi, büyük ölçüde sanat kavramı içinde erimiş ve sanatsal gerçeklik anlayışları öne çıkmıştır. Bu çerçevede, sanatsal gerçekliği açıklayan yedi ayrı yaklaşım kendini göstermiştir. Çalışma estetik kaygının, modernliğin temsiliyet merkezli düşüncesinden postmodernliğin çoğulcu, parçalı ve göreli sanat anlayışlarına geçişini hem tarihsel hem kavramsal hem de problematik düzlemde göstermeye çalışmıştır.

This study presents an examination and a tracing of aesthetic concern throughout the history of thought. In this sense, the study addresses aesthetic concern in relation to reality and analyzes it based on two main periods: the modern and the postmodern. The study approaches the historical transformation of aesthetic concern within a systematic and problematic framework, classifying and evaluating the understandings of aesthetic and artistic reality in the modern and postmodern periods respectively. In this regard, during the modern period, aesthetic was considered as the representation of reality from Baumgarten to Kant; with German idealism, aesthetic (beauty) came to be seen as reality itself; by the late 19th century, aesthetic was no longer seen as necessarily representing reality; and in the final phase, even the notion of necessary reality itself was rejected. As a result, a perspective emerged—termed aesthetic perspectivism—wherein each thinker interpreted aesthetics according to their own understanding of reality up until the postmodern era. This classification within the study aims to reveal the multifaceted breaking points of modern aesthetic thought. In the postmodern period, however, a dissolution occurred in ontological thinking due to the changing theoretical and practical conditions of the age, rendering conceptions of reality fragmented, relative, and pluralistic. Consequently, in postmodern aesthetics, reality ceased to be a unified concept and was reshaped according to various artistic approaches. In the postmodern context, the term“aesthetic”largely dissolved into the concept of art, and understandings of artistic reality came to the forefront. Within this framework, seven distinct approaches that define artistic reality have emerged. This study attempts to demonstrate on historical, conceptual, and problematic levels the transition of aesthetic concern from the representation-centered thought of modernity to the pluralistic, fragmented, and relativistic conceptions of art in postmodernity.
