Özet
Kent mekânları, geçmişten günümüze değişim göstererek geleceğe uzanır. Teknoloji ve sanayinin gelişimi, inşaat süreçlerini hızlandırırken tarihi mekânları olumsuz etkilemiştir. İnsanlar, eski yerleşimlerin sorunlarıyla uğraşmak yerine yeni alanlara yönelmiştir. Isparta'nın Uluborlu ilçesi, tarihsel dokusunu koruyan önemli yerleşimlerden biridir. Depremler, yangınlar ve seller gibi doğal afetler nedeniyle kent büyük zarar görmüştür. 1922'deki Türk-Yunan Nüfus Mübadelesi sonrası terk edilme süreci başlamış, 1940'tan itibaren yeni yerleşim alanları oluşturulmuştur. 1955'ten sonra eski kentten yeni alana geçiş hızlanmış, bu durum tarihi dokunun çöküntü alanına dönüşmesine yol açmıştır. Uluborlu'da anıtsal yapılar korunabilse de sivil mimari örnekleri yok olma tehlikesiyle karşı karşıyadır. Mal sahiplerinin ilgisizliği ve kurumların yetersiz koruma anlayışı, yapıları giderek tahrip etmiştir. Mevcut kalıntıların belgelenmesi ve fotoğraflanarak hafızaya işlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Kültürel turizm bağlamında geliştirilmesi gereken önerilerle, farkındalık yaratılarak tarihi yerleşimin korunması sağlanmalıdır. Bölgede sürdürülebilir koruma çalışmaları doğrultusunda öneriler geliştirilerek, Uluborlu'nun tarihi mirasının gelecek nesillere aktarılması hedeflenmektedir.

Urban spaces evolve over time, extending from the past to the present and into the future. The advancement of technology and industry has accelerated construction processes, often at the expense of historical sites. As a result, people have preferred to move to new settlements rather than dealing with the challenges of older ones. Uluborlu, a district of Isparta, is a significant settlement with a rich historical fabric. However, it has suffered considerable damage due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods. The process of abandonment began with the 1922 Turkish-Greek Population Exchange and accelerated with the establishment of new residential areas in the 1940s. By 1955, the transition to the new settlement had largely been completed, leading to the gradual neglect of the historical town. While monumental structures in Uluborlu have been preserved to some extent, examples of civil architecture face the risk of destruction. The indifference of property owners and the lack of an effective preservation strategy by institutions have contributed to the deterioration of these structures. Efforts are being made to document and photograph the remaining historical buildings to ensure their preservation in the collective memory. Additionally, proposals within the scope of cultural tourism are being developed to raise awareness and facilitate the conservation of the historical settlement. By developing suggestions in line with sustainable conservation efforts in the region, it is aimed to transfer the historical heritage of Uluborlu to future generations.
