Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı Osmanlı arşiv kaynaklarından olan temettuat defterlerinin sosyo-ekonomik açıdan incelenerek bu defterlerin yerel tarih öğretimi açısından önemini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Osmanlı Arşivi‟nde bulunan 9079, 9085, 9091, 9094 ve 9097 nolu Mudanya kazası merkez mahallelerine ait temettuat defterleri oluşturmaktadır. Temettuat defterleri, kişilerin sahip oldukları mal varlıklarının tespitini yapmak ve kişilerin maddi gücüne göre vergi tahsil etmek amacıyla Osmanlı Devleti‟nin birçok bölgesinde 19. yüzyılda emlak, arazi ve hayvanat sayımları neticesinde tutulan defterlerdir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan arşiv ve doküman yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenen arşiv belgeleri incelenmiştir. Söz konusu arşiv belgelerinden elde edilen bulgular nitel içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenerek anlamlı bir bütünlük oluşturacak şekilde yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında incelen temettuat defterlerinden elde edilen bulguların, tablolar ve grafiklerle desteklenerek, yerel ve sosyo-ekonomik tarih konularının öğretiminde nasıl kullanılabileceği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın ana problemi ile birlikte tespit edilen alt problemler çerçevesinde temettuat defterlerinden elde edilen veriler, temel tarih becerileri bağlamında yerel tarih öğretimi açısından önemi ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına bağlı olarak tarih okuryazarlığı becerilerini, tarihçi becerilerini ve tarihsel düşünme becerilerini geliştirmek için öğrencilerin, öğretmenlerin ve akademisyenlerin ilgili tarih konularının öğretiminde temettuat defterlerini daha fazla kullanmaları gerekir.

The main purpose of this research is to examine the temettuat registers, which are among the Ottoman archive sources, from a socio-economic perspective and to reveal the importance of these registers in terms of local history teaching. The sample of the research consists of the dividend registers of the central neighborhoods of Mudanya district with the numbers 9079, 9085, 9091, 9094 and 9097 in the Ottoman Archives. Temettuat books are books kept in many regions of the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century as a result of real estate, land and animal censuses in order to determine the assets of individuals and to collect taxes according to the financial strength of individuals. In this research, archive documents were examined using the archive and document method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The findings obtained from the archive documents in question were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method and interpreted to form a meaningful integrity. It was determined how the findings obtained from the dividend books examined within the scope of the research could be used in the teaching of local and socio-economic history subjects, supported by tables and graphs. Within the framework of the sub problems identified together with the main problem of the research, the importance of the data obtained from the dividend books in terms of teaching local history in the context of basic history skills has been revealed. Depending on the results of the research, students, teachers and academics should use temettuat notebooks more in teaching relevant history subjects in order to develop historical literacy skills, historian skills and historical thinking skills.
