Özet
Bu çalışmada, Gaziantep ilinde Antep fıstığı meyvesinin üretim durumu, pazarlama yapısı, pazarlama fonsiyonlarının kullanımı, üretim ve pazarlama aşamalarında yaşanan sorunların belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. 2024 yılı verilerine göre Türkiye toplam Antep fıstığı üretiminin %31.1'ini karşılayan Gaziantep ili çalışma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma için Antep fıstığı yetiştiriciliği yapan üreticiler, pazarlama aşamalarında yer alan aracılar ve işletmeciler olmak üzere üç farklı anket yardımı ile yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında işletmeler Antep fıstığı dikim alanına göre dört farklı gruba ayrılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular frekans ve çapraz tablolar kullanılarak sunulmuştur. Gaziantep ilinde 2024 yılı Antep fıstığı dikim alanı 1.430.954 dekar, üretim miktarı 119.259 tondur. Gaziantep ilinin iklim özelliklerinin Antep fıstığı üretimine uygun olması yıllar itibari ile üretimde görülen artışın önümüzdeki yıllarda da devam edeceği, Gaziantep ilindeki fıstık işleme tesislerinin daha fazla yaygınlaşacağı ve ürüne olan ilginin daha çok artacağı öngörülmektedir. Değerlendirmeler sonucunda Antep fıstığı üretimini etkileyen en önemli sorun toprak ve yaprak analizi sorunudur. En önemli pazarlama sorunu fiyatların üreticiler tarafından düşük bulunmasıdır. Ayrıca ürünü hemen satma gereğini de önemli bir pazarlama sorunu olarak görmüşlerdir. Üretim ve pazarlama aşamasındaki sorunların giderilmesi Antep fıstığı dikim alanları ve üretim miktarını genişletecektir.

This study aims to determine the production status, marketing structure, utilization of marketing functions, and the challenges encountered during the production and marketing stages of Antep pistachio in Gaziantep province. Gaziantep was selected as the research area as it accounts for 31.1% of Turkey's total pistachio production according to 2024 data. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews using three distinct survey instruments designed for producers, marketing intermediaries, and facility operators. Within the scope of the research, enterprises were categorized into four groups based on the size of their cultivation areas. The findings are presented through frequency distributions and cross-tabulations. According to 2024 statistics, the total cultivation area for Antep pistachio in Gaziantep is 1,430,954 decares, with a production volume of 119,259 tons. Given that the climatic characteristics of Gaziantep are highly suitable for pistachio cultivation, it is projected that the upward trend in production will persist in the coming years. Furthermore, an increase in the prevalence of processing facilities and overall market interest in the product is anticipated. The evaluation reveals that the most significant bottleneck affecting production is the inadequacy of soil and leaf analysis. Regarding marketing, the primary concern is the perception of low producer prices. Additionally, the necessity for immediate post-harvest sales was identified as a critical marketing constraint. Addressing these systemic issues in the production and marketing phases is expected to facilitate the expansion of cultivation areas and significantly increase total yields.
