Özet

Bu tez çalışması, 19. yüzyıl Batı varoluşçuluğunun öncü ismi Soren Kierkegaard ile 13. yüzyıl Anadolu irfanının temel taşı olan Yunus Emre'nin düşünce dünyalarını, imanın özne üzerindeki dönüştürücü etkisi bağlamında karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektedir. Araştırmanın temel odağını, Kierkegaard'ın rasyonalist sistemlere bir itiraz olarak kurguladığı İman Şövalyesi ile Yunus Emre geleneğinde somutlaşan Derviş figürü oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, imanın statik bir dogmatik kabulden ziyade, özneyi tüm fenomenal bağlarından arındıran ve onu mutlak hakikat karşısında yeniden inşa eden ontolojik bir süreç olduğu savunulmuştur. Karşılaştırmalı analiz neticesinde; Batı düşüncesindeki trajik ve yalnız özne (İman Şövalyesi) ile Doğu irfanındaki vahdet odaklı ve bütünleşmiş özne (Derviş) modellerinin, farklı tarihsel ve kültürel kodlara rağmen, insanın kendisi olma serüveninde benzer bir teslimiyet ve aşkınlık arayışını temsil ettikleri saptanmıştır. Metin boyunca, her iki düşünürün insan varoluşuna dair sunduğu evrensel perspektifler ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, imanın özneyi çözen ve yeniden kuran devrimsel bir varoluş kategorisi olduğunu felsefi bir çerçevede ortaya koymaktadır.

This thesis conducts a comparative analysis of the thought worlds of Søren Kierkegaard, a pioneering figure of 19th-century Western existentialism, and Yunus Emre, the cornerstone of 13th-century Anatolian wisdom, within the context of the transformative impact of faith on the subject. The primary focus of the research consists of the Knight of Faith conceptualized by Kierkegaard as an objection to rationalist systems, and the figure of the Dervish, embodied in the tradition of Yunus Emre.The study argues that faith is an ontological process that strips the subject of all phenomenal ties and reconstructs it in the face of absolute truth, rather than a static dogmatic acceptance. As a result of the comparative analysis, it has been determined that the models of the“tragic and solitary subject”(Knight of Faith) in Western thought and the“unity-oriented and integrated subject”(Dervish) in Eastern wisdom represent a similar quest for submission and transcendence in the journey of“becoming oneself,”despite differing historical and cultural codes. Throughout the text, the universal perspectives offered by both thinkers on human existence are opened to discussion through concepts such as the“subjectivity of truth,”the“teleological suspension of the ethical,”the“annihilation of the self (fana),”and the“language of silence.”In conclusion, this study demonstrates in a philosophical framework that faith is a revolutionary existential category that dissolves and reconstructs the subject.
